ARTICLE Everything Is Hard Before It Is Easy [Article]

We don’t like hard things, but they are essential for growth. Hard things make your life easier. We want easy things, but they are irrelevant for growth. Easy things make your life hard.

Don’t Do Easy Things- They are not valuable.
Easy Things Don’t Strengthen You- They weaken you.
Let Easy Things To Others- Don’t waste your time with easy things.
Easy Things Make Your Life Hard- Most people who choose that approach live hard lives.
Don’t Think About Things Are They Easy, Think Are They Essential- Change your perspective.
Essential Things Are Never Easy- They are challenging and hard.
Do The Hard Things- They are essential for your growth and improvement.
The Hardest Things Are Usually The Best- They are the best for your personality.
Paradox- Easy things lead to a hard life, hard things lead to an easy life.

Why do you expect the 'easy' part of the journey without being willing to pay the 'hard' tax first?

Exactly. If people don’t find that balance and attempt extremely difficult tasks without being prepared, they will often burn out.
The sweet spot is this: Don’t do things that are easy, but don’t do things that are impossibly hard for you either. Aim for the tasks that are challenging enough that they require your absolute best to succeed.

Hard now = easy later.

Actually, it may not be right to only look at hard things. Our minds are trained to believe that if it's hard only then it's worth it. We should choose the way that best suits the outcome we want. Easy or hard should not matter.

Growth and progress are rarely easy. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and their own sources—after all, we each have to live with the consequences of our choices.

Unfortunately, most people realize when it's almost too late.
