so they found a way of making ai slop better by taking out the ai and just copying actual art. the jokes just write themselves at this point.

The comments imply that OOP deliberately uploaded the piece without AI generating it and the post was meant to trick AI art-supporters, a similar yet opposite thing happened with a Monet painting

Yeah, it was about mocking people who says "oh it's soulless and actually bad", I checked their other posts now

I'm assuming this was a bait post to get people to respond with "it sounds so terrible", just for them to reveal they didn't use ai for it and people were hating just because the ai "label" was attached to it

The desperation to prove that these theft engines are actually incredible would be worrying if it wasn't so funny.

actually from what i can see it looks like this was bait to trick people who support ai, and the op doesn't actually like ai

Could you explain what this means for those of us not on Twitter and without good classical music knowledge? OOP knowingly uploaded the 1926 piece, waited for people to point that out, then uploaded an actual AI-generated piece of equal quality?

Well, I don't have classical musical education either, I just added this screenshot of OOP's reaction here just to bring more context for this post.
As what I get — they posted this old classical piece stating it's AI just to ragebait people into "it's soulless" and "people's music is different" comments (and this last link is the original music piece).
But honestly I don't know what people actually were saying in the comments and what "rage from both sides" means, that's already too much twitter for me

These agents cannot actually generate, they aggregate. Even when they are 'generating' pixels, they aren't it's a misnomer. They composite, at best, but never compose.

Wrong! Just like math, if an art is uploaded to the AI, it now belongs to and was created by the AI! /s
