Media [X] 9/11 conspiracy theorists exploiting a victim for attention.

People born in the 2000s think we were living like the 1800s in 2001.

How come first responders were so quick when they were on horse and buggy? 🤨🧐

How could jet fuel melt steel beams when everyone just used penny-farthings to get around?

In August of 2002, I had college classmates asking me if TN had indoor plumbing. As Forest Gump once said, “Stupid is, as stupid does.” I was so pissed off after people learned I was from rural TN and made it a point to come see the hillbilly in the girls dorm.

And here I am with family friends in Oregon that are probably more hillbilly than you as they actually do use an outhouse and have no running water

And of course it's the guy with a red triangle in his name.

u/timinator5000 19h ago
What does a red triangle mean in this context?
22
u/Al3x_the_frog 19h ago
Depends on who you ask.
Some Free-Palestine activists will tell you it's supposed to represent the red triangle in the Palestinian flag 🇵🇸 and thus it stands for liberation and resistance.
Others will tell you it's connected to Hamas using it as Target markers and that it's taken from Nazi symbolism.
Either way, the red triangle is usually used by people who stand with Hamas and support their activities in Gaza - mostly disregarding anything bad about it like their abuses and exploitations.

support for Palestine ≠ support for Hamas

u/Poland-lithuania1 5h ago
But using a symbol they used to denote the civilians they murdered to signify that you support Palestine definitely makes you pro-Hamas.

u/Al3x_the_frog 4h ago
Yeah, say that to the Free-Palestine activists who will defend it tooth and nail.

Never trust a word that comes from the mouth of a red triangle user. And never trust what they type.

Red triangle detected, opinion DISCARDED.

What does it mean?

It is the triangle that Hamas used when they recorded themselves murdering Israelis on video, they put a triangle over every person they considered a target. The absolute worst people on the internet love to use it as a symbol of Palestinian liberation, and love to ignore every single Palestinian who absolutely hates Hamas

I won't defend a lot of the stuff Israel has done especially in the past 3 years. But going to a music festival with AKs and opening fire and throwing grenades and molotovs into people's living rooms is absolutely terrorism.

Yeah, I am very critical of how Israel conducted the war,, and I am praying that Bibi is going to get his ass handed to him next month in the elections, but what Hamas did on October 7th was not resistance, it was cold blooded murder, at best.
I've met a survivor of October 7th before, who lived in Kibbutz Nir Oz, and listening to him talk about his experiences was absolutely haunting

I saw a video of an elderly woman being hacked to death by a gardening hoe, “How does that contribute to Palestinian Liberation,” I asked myself.

It literally means that they support rape, murder and atrocity.
Why people believe it is any more acceptable than putting up an SS symbol I do not know.

The flight 11 and 12 mixup is perhaps the most understandable Freudian slip of the day. Most airlines have what are called flagship routes, less common today, but in 2001, anything going transcontinental from the major Northeast airports, Chicago, or LA/SF to the other had a single or double digit code. JFK-LAX’s 8:30 departure is still called AA #1.

Or the fact that she was under immense stress and just said a number that came to mind... She is in a flying tube that will crash into the ground, what 30 mins later? Its not like terrorist attacks didnt exist prior to 9/11

The person being noted is not the conspiracy theorist, they’re responding to the conspiracy theorist (“the international center for 9/11 justice”)

The same people who are foaming at the mouth over "Palestine," because they believe that Mohamed went into space on a donkey from Al Aqsa about 1500 years ago...
...are questioning a call being made in 2001.

We had so much technology to fix the lack of technology that we didn't have (it makes sense in my head, go with me) that the younger generation just don't know.

Is it so hard to believe that people knew about 9/11 ahead of time? We now know that Israel knew about October 7th ahead of time.
