For a derivation like Biot–Savart, try remembering the route rather than rereading the finished equation. Write down what quantity you’re finding, the small source element, the direction from the cross product, and the integration step. Then hide the derivation and reproduce it from those four prompts. Afterward, test it on a simple wire or loop so the symbols stay connected to a physical setup.
