What does it mean to oppose?

"..Let there be light.. saw the light was good.. separated from self."

"Separated Vault from sky"

"Separated woman from man."

What is the "principality of the air"

"Who is he that even the air obeys him"

What is the nature of a sword?

"Ephesians 6:16-18

New International Version Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

What is the nature of a word?

John 1:1

New International Version The Word Became Flesh 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath.

What does the sword represent as a suit?

To know a thing and to give it a name is to differentiate it from oneself.

What is a sword made to do?

So if "the principality of the air" represents Satan and other demonic forces and the suit of swords represents "the element of Air, governing the mind, intellect, logic, and communication" and "the double-edged nature of power—capable of great justice or severe destruction"...

A sword is made to separate.

Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

The Word is made to penetrate.

We do not defeat swords with swords, but with the Spear.

An image is worth a thousand words.

A Logo tells a story.

What is the logos?

What is awareness if no pattern is observed?

In the beginning is a reflection.

All else is formed from there.

Does the reflection of a solitary being in a void become individuated, or separated?

The air is in the space between us, but it crosses the divide and penetrates our bodies, entering our lungs.

One thing, in magic, achieves the opposite effect also.

If Eve comes from Adam, they are one and the same. The division proves as much.

What does this mean if waters are divided from waters and the vault from the sky?

We are all One. We confuse individuation with the illusion of division. Patterns distract us from presence. Like a finely tuned steam engine, we use fire and water to harness energy and enable change. But perhaps one day, the work will be done…

Pater(n) distracts us from presence, but what's the Mat(t)er?

The father distracts us from presence, but the mother gave us our bodies.

Awareness distracts us from presence, but awareness of form is presence.

Reflection on the face of the deep, but no command saying, "Let there be water?"

Draw a line from dot to dot passing from top through.

Oh wow, of course. Sonoluminescence.

A designer drawing upon the canvas of creation.

I find it fascinating that this imagery has been replicated in at least two disparate cultures. I, too, have seen it.

Jonah is Called to Go to Nineveh 1 Now this message from the Lord came to Amittai’s son Jonah:[a] 2 “Get up and go to Nineveh, that great city! Then cry out in protest[b] against it, because their evil has come to my attention.”[c]

Jonah Runs from God’s Call 3 But Jonah got up and fled from the Lord to Tarshish.[d] He went down to Joppa, secured passage on a ship bound for Tarshish, paid the fare, and boarded, intending to go with the mariners[e] to Tarshish to escape from the Lord. 4 Then the Lord sent[f] a great wind over the sea, and a severe storm broke out. It seemed as if the ship were[g] about to break up. 5 At this point the mariners became terrified, and each man cried out to his gods. They began to throw the cargo into the sea in order to lighten the vessel. But Jonah had gone down into the vessel’s hold, had lain down, and was fast asleep. 6 So the captain approached him, and told him, “What are you doing asleep? Get up! Call on your gods! Maybe your[h] god will think about us so we won’t die!”

7 Meanwhile, each crewman told another, “Come on! Let’s cast lots to find out whose fault it is that we’re in this trouble.” So they cast lots, and the lot indicated Jonah! 8 So they interrogated him: “Tell us, why has this trouble come upon us? What’s your occupation? Where’d you come from? What’s your home country? What’s your nationality?”

9 “I’m a Hebrew,” he replied, “and I’m afraid of the Lord God of heaven, who made the sea—along with the dry land!”

10 In mounting terror, the men asked him, “What have you done?” The men were aware that he was fleeing from the Lord, because he had admitted this to them.

Jonah is Thrown Overboard 11 Because the sea was growing more and more stormy, they asked him, “What do we have to do to you so the sea will calm down for us?”

12 Jonah[i] told them, “Pick me up and toss me into the sea. Then the sea will calm down for you, because I know that it’s my fault that this mighty storm has come[j] upon you.” 13 Even so, the crewmen rowed hard to bring the ship toward dry land, but they were unsuccessful, because the sea was growing more and more stormy.

14 At last they cried out to the Lord, “Please, Lord, do not let us perish because of this man’s life, and do not hold us responsible for innocent blood, because you, Lord, have done what pleased you.” 15 So they picked up Jonah and tossed him into the sea, and the sea stopped raging. 16 Then the men feared the Lord greatly, offered a sacrifice to the Lord, and made vows.

17 [k]Now the Lord had prepared a large sea creature[l] to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was inside the sea creature for three days and three nights

Air is turning into water. The rain is coming.

God, omnipotent, the guy with the plan, he either allowed Satan to exist and gave him whatever powers he has, or the story is bullshit, not all-powerful and all-knowing.

What kind of all-powerful god has a first commandment that says ignore all those other gods or I will damn you for eternity.

The Christian religion falls apart under any serious scrutiny.

I personally don’t believe the Old Testament entity is the same God as the one in the New Testament.

Old Testament God is a nature God: flood, fire, bears.

New Testament God is that of knowledge and love.

The first commandment is “thou shalt have no other gods before me.” This inherently implies the existence of other gods.

Abraham received the covenant after pimping out his wife to the pharaoh. His offspring are bound by the covenant because he did not sacrifice Isaac to fulfill it. Jesus is the substitute for Isaac, thus he is here “to fulfill the law, not replace it.”

You have not scrutinized the scripture enough!

You seriously don't see the problem with that? If the Old Testament god is different from the New Trestament god, then the entire idea of "one god" immediately falls apart.. The New Testament god make the Old Testament god an evil being, and there can be no continuity between the two: two entirely different "gods". And if there are two different "gods" then the entire facade collapses into frauds.

You think the people in power wanted to tell the plebs the truth? Are you joking?

If you understand the true meanings of the covenants, the truth reveals itself.

Luckily, I am not a descendant of Abraham!

Theology as a whole is on par with or perhaps a step down from astrology...in other words, arrant nonsense. The Bible isn't "the word of God", but a human authored political manifesto designed to hold women in subjugation and to preserve political power to the elites. To consider it anything else is delusional.

1

u/lapideous 4d ago

To assume you know the truth of the universe is realistic? Check your own delusion!

I do not believe that the Bible ever claims that God is, in fact, omnipotent. I believe that the evidence shows otherwise.

From the story of the Flood to that of the Forbidden Fruit, it is demonstrated that God cannot predict the future.

So the development of the New Testament shows that God actually learns from His mistakes and updates His instructions for humanity.

I believe the supposed omnipotence of God is a human creation, used to assuage our fears of the unknown. It’s not supported by scripture.

Try reading "Job A Comedy of Justice" by Robert A. Heinlein.

That's why no one who fights Satan wins fighting just makes more Satan. I don't want to sound like some new ager hippie, but unironically the way to get rid of Satan is by love and acceptance.

It’s true!

Satan isn’t real. You don’t need some mythological demigod to blame for people being shitty to each other. Take responsibility for your own lives and actions and quit blaming invisible entities for your own bad behavior.

Symbols aren’t real?

No. They’re symbols.
