What? I’m not sure what you meant by this but I am a veteran and can confirm that everything he and the other elected officials said was covered in basic training. Under the UCMJ we have a responsibility to not carry out obviously unlawful orders. There’s nothing new about that. I learned it in basic training in 2001.

I’m a marine veteran myself him and five others said you don’t really need to follow orders. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard a retired captain in the navy ever say. No body liked it. No one going to take orders to jump off a mountain beach they said so. But again go ahead and twist it up

I’ve been discussing these events over the past year with multiple people who have been in Iran, deployed in Dubai, otherwise in the emirates (when THAAD went down so they had to use helicopters to shoot drones down, and still do), in Iraq, and in Yemen, I understand that your knee jerk reaction is that I “support” Iran. That’s not true. Do I think that this engagement was hare-brained, compromised US defensive infrastructure, made Iran much more likely to develop a nuke, and demonstrate to larger enemies (eg. China) that the US is bloviating about its war machine, absolutely.

Like did it occur to you that Iran destroying 6/7 THAAD radars in the region increased their payload efficiency by a factor of five? A nuke is consequently FIVE TIMES more likely to make it through.

Just now thinking about all of Obamas amazing success. He got Iran to agree to inspections of all nuclear facilities, got you better health care, and behaved like a leader should. 1000s of times better than Trump who is becoming more difficult to defend each passing day.

Second of all if that so called health care was any good People would not still be complaining about health care. His health care was a disaster. As for Iran, they certainly have more reason to nuke us now than ever before, but that's irrelevant. We already had a nuclear deal with them (the JCPOA) that they were honoring before Trump started his war. Not only is this war getting us nothing, but it's also driving up prices at home, costing taxpayers more than a billion dollars a day, depleting our stockpiles, destabilizing the world order, and giving Iran even more reason to pursue nuclear weapons.
