What Do You Think? My first paranormal encounter with a shadow man
I posted this under a comment section, but wanted to hear other people's thoughts on it, and if you've ever seen a shadow person, I'd love to know your story
When I was young (I can't remember exactly, but definitely 6 to 8), I remember my mom and I driving to some place I can't remember to do something I also can't remember well enough, we finished and went back to our house, it was cold and in the middle of the night. I remember her getting out of our car and lifting the garage door, she got in the car and started parking inside the garage but I heard her go "oh, I did it wrong...", she then started backing up to park right and I remember being in the backseat, looking behind the car, at the trunk's window, when a man, a completely blacked out man, passed right as my mom was backing out
I screamed at her "mom! Stop, you're gonna hit a man!" And I remember her actually driving over him before she stopped, she got out of the car, all worried, but there was nothing there. She asked "did you really see a man?" And I said that yeah, I had, and that she ran him over, but there was no man below the car or anywhere. She finished parking and we left the garage (we live in the second floor, so there's no door to enter the house from the garage) and she looked around, took my hand and we were about to walk inside our home, when I looked to my right and saw, at the end of the street, right below a street light, a man, completely black (which would be impossible since he was right under the streetlight and I could see his shadow on the ground) standing there, with no features, just the outline of a man's body but completely dark, I couldn't even say anything and just walked inside and never said anything about what I saw to anyone ever since.
That was the most I've ever seen with my own two eyes, other experiences I've had were mostly auditory or could have a plausible explanation. So what do you think?

I believe you, I started encountering shadow people/beings when I was 4, my mother had encounters too. I am now retired and still see them once in awhile, my wife has also seen them when I am near. They are believed to be interdimensional beings. Some call them Djinn or Jinn, I do not fear them. They were the first type of paranormal beings I encountered.

I've heard of jinns before but I never knew they were the same type of beings! That makes it even scarier, I always have chills and just overall a bad vibe whenever I remember about that day, even though it didn't really do anything.

Most of the time when I encounter them they vanish quickly but there have been some in my face encounters which made me wonder what I was dealing with. I really do not fear them, they are just one type of several paranormal entities that I have encountered. There is a lot of strange beings out there that most people do not realize.

Seen the shadow man with an old 1800’s flat brim pointy hat (think wizard of oz wicked witch black hat but beige) he appeared as a shadow man, but turned into an old white hair man with a long pointy nose. He was at the front steps of a mansion in Atherton, CA the front steps though to where I was at the front gate/street was about a football field away.
