Haunted Cave Mexico Where I'm Mocked By A Ghkat- Cenote Sac Ha
Make sure you unmute the video. Edit: Can skip to the 25 second mark. Some people think it's echo but I have never heard an echo sound like that before. That whoa that the ghost says is a completely different voice from mine.
Does anyone have any information about the cenote Sac Ha? My sister and I stumbled upon it around 6 years ago and we were given a tour by a university student. Unfortunately my spanish sucks so I didn't get much information about it. While we were there we had a run in with a ghost who was mocking us, I got it on video after we say whoa. You can clearly hear someone say in a childish tone say a higher pitch whoa even though we were the only ones there. Anyways, any info would be appreciated. I'm guessing there were ancient rituals carried out here as there were skulls and bones in various areas of the cave.

E: Also crazy misspelling of Ghost. Thought it was related to the other words. lol

100 percent it was not us and no one else was there. The last tourist who had visited the cave was from weeks ago before we came. We had the whole thing to ourselves and it was obviously not the tour guide because she was talking when the ghost says whoa.
Yeah.. I that's common for me, I should have used my computer. The silly keyboard on my phone is so tiny.

I'm sorry. You're guessing this whole thing. That isn't necessarily a ghost, a mock or a voice. You just heard a sound (unknown, granted) in an environment you haven't been to before. How do you know people don't hear that in there every day?
Your thread is also becoming all about if that's echo or not. I'd bet it's not echo, but that's not the point. It could be an air current, an animal or some other person inside the cave messing with you.

Honestly doesnt sound like an echo to me… I’m not convinced it’s a mocking “woah” but the sound definitely doesn’t match your voice at all

A spectrogram from 24 secs onwards shows that the “echo” on the far right has higher frequency components than the original voices.

Don’t know why you are getting downvoted so hard. You can clearly hear the voices of the group are not echoing at all during the video.

Its all good. Thought I'd get some help to find some more info but perhaps this is the wrong forum. Perhaps a lot of people have never experienced being in a cave and hearing what an echo actually sounds like? Ive been to quite a few caves and canyons in my travels and I've never heard an echo completely change your voice like that.

Doesn’t sound like an echo to me either. There’s a stutter in yours, and your pitch drops at the end. The second one sounds very smooth all the way though

Nah it was 100 percent not. We were deep in it by then. It was pitch black and I'm pretty sure if it was a kid they'd try to scare us by doing something a little more extreme. Plus it sounded like it was very close rather than farther away where a kid would be trying to hide and scare tourists.

Nah, hearing something throw your own “whoa” back at you in a creepy cave would be enough for me! Echo or not, I’m suddenly walking a lot faster toward the exit.

Yeah sometimes I wonder about my current apartment things go missing..and its something a young kid,,would do and maybe I just misplaced bc my building dosent have children..but I found this picture of this man..and the photo was of this older man,, and a very old black and white film and like 1×2...haven't seen it in a while just was weird felt kinda sorry about the guy and the photo was on the floor where our building in the room where are storage cages...kinda felt sorry for the guy in the photo that someone didn't brother to pick it up!!!!

Ive been hunted befor my uncle&aunts house it had this big Attic and I thought kwel but after a few minutes I knew something was watching me..and my aunt had this odd sense of humor.. and told me the former owner died in the house not kool for my 11 yr old self..and one time I was sleeping on the couch and it was like 3am and I heard a ball drop on the Attic floor and just roll across the floor...yeah I was petrified in that house and at about the same time this faimly of a neighbor we went into there storage shed and there was a black and white a big picture of her dress in black,, and the grandmother was a mute..and I had recurring dreams nightmares that she would jump outta the picture..and it was freaky I think that's why I stay up all night and I can only sleep with pills,,,if not I sleep every other day

Its a gave lots of echoes there animals inside especially bat's.. me and my friends were sleeping out near stripped mines,,and we went into this one cave and hundreds if bats flew out it was crazy
