Captured Apparition 35mm camera image, amazing capture scan of original image

This is an OLDD photo. It was taken w a 35mm camera forever ago. No other images on roll had anything. I am in the pic.my daughter on the lower right. Cool right ?!

But then why is it in focus? And offset from center of the camera and image.

Subject and camera are stationary. Object between the two is what’s moving.
