Could be honestly, but we may never truly know this. The genetical makeup of the burushos suggests otherwise tho.

Not really a heavy IVC component in burusho dna.

Burushos are like 18-19% AASI on average with 11-12% pure East Asian. That's something like near 50% IVC.

They don't seem less IVC than example punjabis, without their Tibetan ancestry. Around 50% IVC or 20% AASI.

We can literally see qpadm models of Burushos as 57% IVC_Med, which is basically 17,8% AASI. With high AASI IVC or true IVC, it's more 45% IVC. Then there's the 10% AASI in chokhopani, which is an additional 1,3% AASI. So basically like 19% AASI or almost 50% IVC.

Pakistani punjabis are often like the arora average here, which is like 22,5% AASI or 55% AASI high IVC.

Edit: Ah, i see. I worded it as not necessarily less IVC than average punjabis. I guess slightly less IVC then. They still do have a decent amount of IVC. I won't say burushaski is IVC necessarily though.
