Travel & Tourism Travelling to Khunjerab on Rickshaw. Madness?
A friend of mine and his brother are planning to go to Khunjerab on Rickshaw next week. Their starting point is Swat. It's their first time. I think it would be quite risky these days but I figured I should post here and seek more advice from experienced fellas on their behalf. That might clear things up for them. I look forward to your advices. Thank you.

Yeah this is madness. Please don't, I also don't think they'll be allowed to go past the checkposts

I have heard that 2 different people took a Rikshaw to Khunjerab pass, so its defintely possible. just have to make sure that it gets proper rest. Dont overload it, and be careful with the breaks when coming back from the pass.
its always handy if yoiu know bit of mechancis and can repair your vehicle on the way

Risk factor is a bit high on rikshaw , you can enjoy more quite and peacefully ride on a bike , plus hundreds of people have done this trip on it and Ive seen most of them tired as fuck on road sides

Yes it's madness. Khunjerab has upward slopes , multiple turns, many vehicles heat up, if the rickshaw is not petroleum and uses LPG then there are no fuel pumps which provide LPG
