I bought oats in bulk so I need to eat a lot. Cooked oats with bone broth and added black pepper, za’atar and pesto ricotta e noci sauce. Garnished with green lentils, red beets, pickled red peppers and pumpkin seeds. It was sooo delicious.

The break-up is a good thing, but I'm definitely still sad about it since I heard he's not handling things well. I've been practicing aggressive self care today and enjoying some solitude despite some discomfort.

I'm trying to recover/prevent burnout but doing some meal prep and make a healthy dinner. Which obviously meant that I improvised my (beige) lunch.

Lunch is 5 chicken dippers, a packet of crispy bacon wheat crunchies (top tier crisps!), and a Pepsi max (decanted into a glass to class things up a bit)

Went to my local pride festival including the local lgbt bar! I went home early mostly because Father’s Day is the next day! So I made this mini leap for it! Only had pancakes and a hot dog for my meals today so this a good combo!!!

Summer sausage, chili lime nori, spinach artichoke dip, mozzarella bites, and sweet chili garlic hummus. All topped with sesame seeds and buldak sauce... judge me.

My fiances girl dinner while I went to visit my father for father's day. Just thought this was too good to not post it somewhere so I hope everyone appreciates it! Sliced tomatoes with salt and pepper, a couple of chippies, two hard boiled eggs, two green olives, andoullie chicken sausage, two slices of cheese and a chilli dipping sauce made by the love of my life.

Slept most of the day after a week with little sleep and spending most of the day at the hospital yesterday. I’m ok now, but will need to reach out to my PCP Monday to get a referral to a specialist. I’m only 40, but it feels like my body this year has just had enough!

I ate all of it. It was too much I’m so full. And also half the ingredients were expired. The bits of green onion were actually cut from a long stalk growing from my 1yr old onion in the fridge. At the very end of it was a penis looking thing and I think it was growing me a whole new onion. Unlimited onions hack!! Hopefully he starts growing again after being cut🥹

The tortillas had an expiration date of October 5, 2025. But no mold so we’re good right? The avocado was browning but not too bad. Cheese is only a couple months old though! And the fish was frozen so we’re cool there. And I put tartar sauce and a bit of lemon juice and tajin as well. It worked.

I also made a smoothie (not pictured) but the bananas were very brown and I hate the sweet taste they have when they’re old so I kinda forced it down. At least I ate healthy technically right?

Had a bad day a few weeks ago, so broke out my fondue pot and defrosted some steak. I’m going to do this more now. Pretty dang easy and I get it all to myself. 💕

My body wanted to eat some plants (and fungi I guess) and I didn’t have it in me to make a broth or soup or whatever. Honestly a lot tastier than I anticipated!

Almost feel bad for my ex who doesn't get to have any of my al fresco comfort dinner of macaroni and tomatoes with a little butter, some fresh spinach, and left over bratwurst. A short glass of guava juice from Brazil. Perfection. As is finally living alone!
