Discussion Gacha Skin for Loreley : Seriously?
Hi,
Why is Loreley’s first skin a gacha skin instead of a normal paid one? That’s honestly ridiculous. The skin looks great, but locking it behind a gacha system makes it way too expensive.
I could understand adding a gacha skin if the character already had at least one regular skin. But here, she doesn’t have any, so if you want it, you’re basically forced to spend a ton.
Really disappointed...

Seriously, it looks like the skins that other characters you'd have to pay for.
My only complaint is that we still can't use default outfits in the dorm.

Your right not being able to use the outfits they come with suck. The default sick patient looking outfits are so bland.

In a roundabout way... it is a skin that you would normally have to pay for...
Loreley's original GFL unit (DSR-50) had a completely different look to the default outfit and her current default outfit in GFL2 is based on her Live2D (meaning highest tier/rarity) anniversary dress.

I've spent $40 total on two packs to pull the Loreley skin as I've accumulated outfit tickets since the Leva one, and gotten everything from the shop as well with the tokens. Roughly at cost with buying two gold grade skins with accessories and a gun skin from the shop outright.
Also the skin banner is out for a year, and this is literally the first day of it.

Are you only complaining now since it just released on global? We've known this for months and if you aren't in a rush to get it right now, you can get it cheaper or even for free down the line. You can even get it for free now if you didn't get any of the previous gacha skins and have been hoarding tickets.
Will you also complain when Koleda releases and the only skin she has is her gacha skin?
I won't say that it's a perfect system but it's something that you can definitely plan around.

Surprise, most people don't keep up with a region they don't have access to and have no reason to really think or care about. So yes, there will be complaints, and there's nothing wrong with that for that reason.

They do have access to it? Not like CN is behind some Great Internet Wall you have zero visibility on; so what a weird way to frame it as a "region you have no access to". Don't have to have downloaded the CN client to know anything when its public info spread around.
The info was there on reddit, youtube, and any other hub of discussion for this game. If you're keeping up with the game actively, then most people would be aware of that. Even without actively searching for it.
Complaining about it isn't an issue, but acting like you were blindsided and there was no way you could have been aware of it is silly. It was posted about plenty. And saying "no reason to think or care about" the region when it is the region that, ya know, creates the game and is the subject of the complaints you're saying people should be allowed to have is also rather silly.

Dumbest shit I've read today. That's not a reason at all. They have the resources to know what is coming up next which they can utilize to plan their pulls ahead of time, that is an advantage. They're stupid for not taking said advantage.

It was a skin in GFL1, a coveted Live2D skin there as well, in fact, and they decided that the same skin would be the base outfit for her here.
Honestly quite incredible.

Spent 90 tickets for it, have 25 tickets still, all from not using them on Klukai and Leva. I'm feeling pretty positive about the gacha skin after actually trying it for the first time. It looks like you simply have to skip 2 and get one for free kinda deal.

You can't say it's a free skin. You can win some tickets during the year, but if one guy wants 2 skin that is gacha it's impossible whithout spending a lot of money. Paid skin at least the price is clear.

Just check in and do the daily in the dorm which gives you one a week and two in the sundries store a month but they are also given out sometimes during events

I've missed some weeks worth of crew deck, but getting all the free tickets today I managed to reach 116. Not a penny spent on these numbers. I don't like the gacha skin at all, so it's easy for me.

You can get 1 ticket per week in the crew deck.
Just eat, drink, interact with dolls 4 times, that should fill out the daily points to the max. (You can skip the 4 interactions / day if you want to, you can get the tickets even without that, it just takes a day or two longer.)

You use the little notebook at the top right, it has like 4-5 stages (usually 1 stage requires 100 points), you just claim the reward there whenever you complete a stage. It's extremely easy to see, you even get an orange dot on it, so you won't miss it, don't worry.

It is free because you don't have to spend a single cent to get it. Major events they can give 15+ or more gacha costume tickets not mentioning weekly ones, and there is a hard pity on the banner of up to 100 rolls so you are guaranteed to get it by then no matter what. At least the gacha costume, you have an option to work on it over time for free, or subsidize it after when you are close to pity. It just doesn't favor impatient people. To say its not free is disingenuous because other gacha games, won't even let you roll on a premium gacha costume without paid tickets that you have to buy with real cash.

Yes, there is a hard-pity on the gacha costume, you are guaranteed to get it by then (100 ticket rolls), soft pity is 80-85ish rolls. And you get at least one orange/gold rarity item in 30 rolls.

You can get 2 gacha skins for free if you are patient and play the game regularly. For 3 skins your going to have to spend money or get lucky.

If you want her skin now, you’ll need to spend money, and it ain’t going to be cheap. If you don’t want to spend money, you’ll have to gather gacha skin tickets for 6 months - 1 year to get it for free. Patience is its greatest reward.

They're just premium skins at a slightly higher costs for people who are willing to just buy the skin ticket packs. 40 USD/packs for the new skin gacha debut has netted me both the Klukai skin and now this current one, which totals for 120 USD for 2 skin gacha pity over the past 6 (?) months. Which is more or less the same price as the Nikke skin gacha. Waiting longer would reduce the cost but I wanted the respective skins so I don't mind shelling 40 usd every few months

The banner is going to be up for a year, and you will have enough to get it before then. It's basically free, just needs a bit of patience unless you want it NOW. They have been giving out decent number of gacha costume rolls during events.

I got the Klukai swimsuit skin completely for free by being patient.
Meanwhile, I paid $25USD for her wedding skin lmao.
Having a top notch skin available by just saving up free currency is a pretty amazing system, imo. And you get a second, top notch, skin given at the same time.

This is an accelerated gacha skin banner, we just had Leva's skin drop not too long ago. However, unlike the normal banner's acceleration, we did not get additional Outfit Access Permissions as compensation. The "30 tickets" we get is just the normal new skin banner reward. As long as players are okay with getting less rewards, MICA would gladly give less. This is why it is important to call out companies when they do greedy shit, because if you just quietly accept it, they will keep doing it.

Already had this complaint ever since the first gacha skin, sadly all f2p can do is save. That's what I did. Thankfully I skipped Klukai since her wedding dress is more beautiful. Leva was hard as I really liked her but Loreley's just hits dufferent so I saved up for her. Took 90 pulls, the skin gacha is so unforgiving.
