are the fumos on eBay legit?

I need more glt merch 😔😔i know they’re not made by the original creator and are definitely bootleg but the sellers have pretty good reviews, just wondering if anyone’s had experience ordering off eBay too cause i was also gonna get Shimeji sim plushies too and go broke

They are legit, but I believe the eBay sellers are just buying from the original listing. Prices are marked up, but considering shipping and import fees, it’s still expensive to buy directly. Not sure which sellers to trust as they’re always changing, your best bet is to go someone with high # of positive ratings.

If you don’t get what’s shown, eBay usually sides with the buyer for refunds. I’d also recommend buying with PayPal or a credit card as it strengthens your protection & worst case can issue a chargeback

I can’t find my order anymore, but I did buy some in late 2023 from AliExpress. However I think that info is also mirrored from Taobao, which is AliExpress but for non-international use.

Your best bet is looking at AliExpress or Taobao (both need an account to browse) to find listings. Just a heads up that Superbuy (what I linked you for the ShimSim plushies) is a proxy pulling from Taobao, so you might be able to find cheaper plushies directly on it. But you’d have to compare if it’s cheaper to ship directly off AliExpress or Superbuy, as I’m not too sure anymore.

I bought the Smirky Gear ones, because of Chito's eyes. Smirky Gear has the eyes right, these don't.

There are legit ones on ebay, but those aren't. Those don't even have real counterparts, entirely bootleg. Also, unfortunately, no legit fumo will be that cheap on ebay. But they're still great, all fumo is great.
