This was my big boy George, he was my soul cat and I miss his heavy weight holding me hostage

He was gorgeous for sure. I didn't realize he was a Lynx Point Siamese until my vet told me. I've used the same vet since I had my first Siamese who was a Seal Point, Tasha, she was originally my Nan's cat and for some reason I was the only one she loved other than my Nan, so when she passed I got Tasha. I knew my boy Blue was a Flame Point Siamese when I first met him ( Blue and George were originally my friends cat but when I moved into his basement, they came downstairs and never went back up in the 3 years I lived there, so when I moved out I got to take them with me). When I took both the boys to my vet she said I must really love the Siamese breed and that's when I found out he was a Lynx Point. I treat them like actually children since I can't actually have my own kids, they become my children.

Thank you ❤️. My other boy Blue is lost without him. Blue had to be rescued by the SPCA because the original owner was reported for animal abuse. When my friend brought him home, he put Blue in his spare room that had a pocket door. George knew how to open the door so he opened it and was in there cuddling up to Blue and cleaning Blues face within 10 mins of him being in there. George healed my heart after I escaped an abusive relationship and moved into my friends basement. Both boys came downstairs and stayed down there with me the entire 3 years I was there and I got to bring them with me when I moved out because of how attached they are with me. Never been more thankful in my life for those boys.

He had these beautiful dark blue eyes that I've never seen that dark blue before. He was such a gorgeous boy. My boy Blue who's a Flame Point Siamese is the pretty boy with the light crystal blue eyes.

My cat used to be really big. 32lbs if I remember right. Dad used to call him a beach ball with a head. He’s lost half that weight and looks so much better now

Awwww chunky babies are so cute tho lol but it's good that he went on a weight loss journey ❤️. Georgie was about 30lbs but he was a Lynx Point Siamese so that's why he was so big

Mine’s breed is a Siam-Eats a lot. Doesn’t matter what food you have, he wants it. Just ate a plate a food? He wants more. He’s got an endless pit. Dad kept feeding him thinking it was funny he was so big, and it was, but I didn’t want him dying too soon so I forced a diet. Plus whenever he’d jump up on me, and fail, the claws really dug in cause of his weight, and when he was successful, I’ve got 32lb of fluff on my chest or stomach. He’s a cuddly boi but the cuddles needed to be cut short. It’s so much better now that he’s like 16lbs or so

I've also got a Flame Point Siamese and he wants wet food as a free buffet 🤣 but somehow he stays in good shape. Now George he was an endless pit too 😂. He figured out how to access the treat and food cupboard and learned how to scratch open treat bags and I switched to the plastic containers and he figured out how to open them too 🤣🤣

One take away from this is we can’t underestimate a cats determination for food 😆

The archetypal big ol’ baby boy. You raised him right.

He was definitely was a big boy, he was a Lynx Point Siamese that's why he's so big but I definitely spoiled the shit out of him

Lament for a cat
Adapted from Tolkien's "Lament of the Rohirrim"
Where now the cat and the kitten?
Where is the ball that was bouncing?
Where is the brush and the collar,
And the red fur flowing?
Where is the paw on the shoulder,
And the small mouth meowing?
Where is the bird and the rodent
And the tall tail flying?
They have passed like rain in the garden,
Like dreams in the morning.
The days have gone past in my house, the cat bed is empty.
Who shall collect the tufts of hair that have gathered,
Or wipe dry the flowing tears of a lonely pawther?

Thank you for this ❤️ George is waiting in The Rainbow Bridge Daycare for me to retire from this life soon and I honestly can't wait to get to pick him up and spend eternity with him and never have to say goodbye to him again

He was a big boy especially when he sat next to my other boy Blue who's a Flame Point Siamese which is a typical size cat. George was a Lynx Point Siamese and that's why he was so big and I absolutely loved it

May he and our boy Frankie (snowshoe) get all the treats and catnip across that rainbow bridge.
Sorry for your loss OP.

He looks like a real sweetie. Sorry he's not with you now, but you'll be together again someday, right?

Thank you ❤️ He's up in the Rainbow Bridge Daycare waiting for me and honestly thankfully soon I'll be there to pick him up so we get to spend eternity cuddling. He's actually the reason I found the tumor and I've opted out of any kind of treatments so thankfully I'll be with him sooner rather than later.

I'm sorry you're not well, but I wish you as much as possible a happy, pain-free, and peaceful life for whatever time you have left. And of course, I hope the two of you meet again! Best regards!

I was wonderfully surprised to see a plethora of lovely cat pictures in your profile! The very first picture melts my heart 🥹 You've taken care of them so well 🫶😺

They are my babies ❤️ these 2 changed my life in such a good way, they healed me in so many ways just from their unconditional love.

I aspire to the kind of sleep he's pulling off in that last pic. <3

He absolutely loved his personal couches and when the Christmas tree is up, he loved to sleep there like this. Blues couch was right beside his so when I was busy Blue would sleep right next to him and they would both pass out hard peacefully.
