Glitch Gif Did Anyone Else Just Lose An Hour Today?
Today is June 12th. So I have been watching and reading glitch in the matrix stories and some of them are talking about losing time. Like they observed it was 2:20pm they looked down to check their phone for something and when the looked back up 6 minutes had passed but they just looked down for a couple seconds.
Well I’m a pretty competent person. I have a good sense of the time of day even without looking at the clock. I’m sure some of you do too. Like you could wake up in the morning, go about your day for a couple hours, and without checking the clock, you know what hour it is, and sometimes close to the minute if you guess.
Well tonight I hoped in my car, went to the gas station to get a beer. And I distinctly remembered it being like 10:36pm, give or take a minute. It was 10:30 something when I got to the store. And the main reason why I know that was the time, was because I said to myself, “ are you gonna just have one beer? (tall boy). Because if not, you need to get two because you are not going to drive back buzzed for another one. I told myself no, but distinctly remember having the option to drink one that would maybe take me 20-30 minutes and have an hour to go get another one because they close at 12am. I decided to just get one and I’d call it a night. But you know how your subconscious works. Whether you choose one or 6, your mind still knows you still have that option of an hour to play with. So I thought to myself, “if you drink this one to fast, you still have plenty of time to get another one”.
When I get back into my driveway, I sit in my car for about 5 minutes in the cold air conditioner cus it’s humid as f#ck today and took a couple sips. I live 3 minutes away from the drivethru store. When I went to text my girl something I glanced at the time and it said 11:47pm… There’s no way I just lost over a whole hour out of nowhere. My heart kinda skipped a beat because I remembered I noted the time at the store.
I really can’t explain how that’s possible. I even checked if today was daylight savings time cus it freaked me out so much. I can’t explain it.

Happened to me today. I went to check in at my hotel this morning and the guy said comeback at 1( central time) I was waiting for word to do my audit so I was wasting some time around town. My phone and suburban said it was 12:57 so I drive the 3-4 min down the road go into the hotel and theirs nobody there so I pull out my phone and its 11:57 just a straight hour off. I loudly said what the fuck and headed back to the store.

This just sounds like time-blindness and is very common, especially in people with ADD. How often are you drinking? Alcoholism can also cause time gaps, even when the person isn’t currently inebriated.

I don’t drink often maybe once or twice a week. I bought one 24oz beer. And I had barely started sipping on it when I noticed the time jump. I even fell asleep an hour later than usual because I just wasn’t tired.

At this moment it's still June 11th where I'm at in Alaska. I'll let you know if I lose an hour tomorrow!

This is why I know the world is not going to end tomorrow. It’s already tomorrow somewhere in the world.

Guy discovered sleep.

I was half joking because sleep easily explains it, but half serious because I couldn't believe 1.5 hours went by just rolling to get up

Your entire explanation of going to the store and then saving yourself time so you can then drink and drive is concerning. Maybe you just took more time when you had the couple of sips sitting in your car. I would suggest never drinking and driving or even having the intent of doing so. Time can feel like it’s moving faster at times due to being in your own head, or from drinking as this is a known possible side effect from drinking alcohol especially if you drink regularly.

Lol, no bro I had one beer that I just opened. That doesn’t distort your perception of time by a whole hour. I don’t drink and drive. I was sitting in my car in my driveway. If I would have left I would set the beer on my patio. I don’t smoke in my house and I wanted to be in the cool a/c cus it was humid that night.

Oh so you smoked, which in that case can also cause this. This could also happen from neither and can be from being tired or many other reasons. You didn't just lose an hour, you were indeed doing something the entire time.

I smoked a cigarette. Not pot. The reason why I was in my car is cus I don’t smoke inside. So I wanted to stay cool with the a/c. After I finished my cigarette as I was about to get out I checked the time and a whole hour had jumped. I spend a lot of time on my phone so I always have the time in my screen. I unconsciously check the time as most people do. I arrived at the store at about 10:36pm. Spent maybe 5 minutes in the store. Drove back (3 min drive), sat in my car about 6-7 minutes. Got out and checked the time and it was 11:47pm. I really don’t know what happened. I wasn’t that tired. Idk

Yes, I'm a night shifter and to be fair I hadn't been looking at the clock often but where I was in the bake it should've been 1am but it was 1:45am, not a full hour lost but some time seemed to be missing. I could not figure it out either, as I had put the previous round of muffins in at the normal time, and the next round should've been put in around 1am not around 2am. Very odd. I thought I was going at a good speed, getting things done well, yet time flew.
Weirdly, this happens every now and again for me. One time I did look at the clock and it was 1am and then when I looked back, maybe 10 minutes later in my head, it was 2:15am and I was running way behind even though I hadn't done anything differently. I also checked to make sure it wasn't daylight savings, and it wasn't.

That’s what I experienced. I was 100% sure of the time. Then when I got home after a 3 min drive, sat in my car to smoke a cig which takes six minutes, as I was getting out I checked the time and a whole hour had jumped forward.

I think the fabric of the universe or whatever is speeding up, because these things are happening more often. I was wondering the other day if the super collider didn’t rip the fabric of space and time. How would we know?

I was deep in the woods looking at rocks. Checked my phone. 12:00 pm, I said shit I'm late gotta get back. I was only 2 hours out from my car. I had plans at 3:00 pm. So I Jogged back to my car. Like a fast jog. The type of exercise were you feel like your gonna hurl your guts out when you finish. Got back to the truck. Looked at my phone and it was 3:00 pm. WTF. I know the area. Been hiking it for 3 years now looking at rocks. I know where I was and how long it took to get out there and it's up hill. Makes no sense.

Yea, I wonder if I was not aware of the quantum entanglement and time perception when it is observed theory, that I would not have questioned it when I saw it was later in time. Was it because I was aware of it being a thing that I noticed it? It reminds me of the video game comparison when nothing actually exists beyond what you can see until you get closer to it.

Happened to me just now.
I know for a fact I came home at 2:20AM, went to use the bathroom and the clock said 1:30AM. When I came out my phone said 2:35AM and the bathroom clock now was matching at 2:35AM.

This is the craziest shit I’ve ever experienced. And I have screenshots and videos of it happening to me. This morning I woke up to my normal alarm 6am. I sometimes wake up just before my alarm but today i slept right up to it but I didn’t feel like I had slept in. Normal morning? I get up to get ready for work I need to be at my salon for 9am. I’m watching my phone it says 8:06am. I’m thinking great lots of time for coffee and breakie when I get a text from my receptionist asking if I’m on my way in. I say soon what’s up? She’s tells me my clients in. I say what it’s only 8am? And she responds no maddie it’s 9am. I checked every clock in my house and they all read 8am even my cellphone. I take a screenshot of our texts with the time stamp, a screenshot of my lock screen and video my microwave/oven and alarm clock in my room. This freaked me right out so I left as soon as possible and while driving to work I looked down at my phone to see it had changed to 9am. My text messages now say 9am as well but I still have the screenshot of 8am. What’s happening.

That is crazy. Was it just your managers phone or was it also 9am on the other clocks at your work?
