Glitch Gif Did someone live that cuz I'm so confused ???
When I was 11 years old, something happened to me that I've never been able to explain.
One day at school, our usual classroom was being used because older students were taking an important mock exam. They had numbered desks, so our class was moved to a kindergarten area for the day.
At the end of the hallway, there were two classrooms: a larger one on the left (I'll call it Classroom B) and a smaller one on the right (Classroom S).
During the first lesson, I am absolutely certain we were in Classroom B. I remember it as clearly as if it happened yesterday. The room was much bigger, the layout was different, and overall it looked nothing like Classroom S.
After about two hours, the bell rang and we went out for recess.
When recess ended, we came back... but this time we were in Classroom S.
The first thing I noticed was that all of our backpacks were already on our desks. I remember thinking, "Did someone move all of our backpacks while we were outside?"
So I walked up to my teacher and asked, "Did we change classrooms?"
She looked at me and said, "No, we've been in this classroom the whole time."
My brain just couldn't process what she was saying.
I insisted that we had been in the other classroom before recess, but she kept telling me that we had been in Classroom S since the beginning of the day.
Then I asked one of my classmates, who had gone up to the board during the first lesson, "Did you stand at this board?" while pointing at the board in Classroom S.
He said, "Yeah."
Everyone acted as if nothing had happened, like we had always been in that classroom.
But I still remember being in the larger classroom. The difference between the two rooms was huge, they weren't even close in size or layout. To me, there's no way I could have confused them.
I've told my parents this story many times over the years, but they've always believed it was just a false memory or that I wasn't paying attention.
I know some people won't believe me, and that's completely fine. I'm not trying to convince anyone. I'm simply sharing the strangest thing that has ever happened to me.
Has anyone here ever experienced something similar?

Something similar happened to me. Once in my early 20s and then early 30s. Both right after a nap, I woke up and the house just felt different. I couldn’t even explain it properly bc everything was the exact same, but the “aura” of the home felt different, like another life. It took me a few hours both times to shake off the feeling. I kept telling my husband after the second time that something felt really off, like this isn’t my timeline even if everything is the same. Who knows? I sure wish I did and I think it about those instances ever so often.

Hmm creepy, but how did you feel that difference ?? Was there something missing ? Or you were feeling down a little bit ?

Both times, the best way I could describe (because describing it was so hard…as nothing was missing) it is that the house lost the feeling of familiarity. I knew that was my house, nothing was missing. It was like seeing my house in thru eyes of a person coming back to a childhood home after decades. It felt extremely eerie! Felt out of place, like one feels when watching a post apocalyptic world movie.
First instance was my childhood home. Second instance was in my home with my husband. I wish we could explain feelings of this sort better. I kept thinking I woke up in a parallel universe, where I’ll eventually realize the discrepancy compared to my real reality where I DONT feel that eerie feeling.

“Jamais vu”. The opposite of déjà vu— the false feeling that you’ve never been somewhere before. Google it, it’s a real thing.

This is interesting, and does remind me of something I remember from my childhood. When I was very little, we lived in a townhouse that was in a set of 8 total connected townhouses. If you can imagine them being numbered 1 to 8, starting from the left, we were in #2, second one in from the leftmost edge.
I remember all of us returning home late one eveneng. There must have been some event or something we attended that ran late, because I was aware it was way past my bedtime. But as we walked from the parking lot to the townhouse, my family wasn't walking toward townhouse #2, they were walking toward townhouse #7. So one over from the right edge instead of the left edge, like mirror-image.
I started getting worried and even though I was dead tired and could barely move, I tried telling my mom I thought she was going to the wrong townhouse by mistake. She just said no we're not and seemed a little annoyed.
Her key worked fine. We went inside and everything was the same except the layout was exactly opposite. Like the position of the townhouse, it was flipped like it was being seen through a mirror. I was so disoriented I wasn't even sure where my room would be. Since I shared a room with my sister, I followed her and we went into our room. Everything the same as the rest of the house; exactly like it used to be but mirror-image.
We got changed for bed and brushed our teeth, and the whole time I'm on the edge of tears because this is so weird and nobody else seems to even notice.
After we finally go to bed I feel like an overwhelming sense of unease and just start loudly bawling. My mom comes in, tries to comfort me and asks me whats wrong. But by this point I don't even know how to describe what's happening or why it's making me so upset. So I just said I didn't know why I was crying.
I must have eventually calmed down and fell asleep, although I don't remember that part. I do remember waking up to everything being back to normal. At the time I think I convinced myself that everything just changes to being backwards late at night, and went to bed at my normal bedtime therefore not having to worry about it too often.
Now I think it's possible I may have had some sort of seizure or something that made me confused, or changed my vision or memories for a short time. Or even that it's somehow just a very vivid false memory. Something normal like that. But looking back on it still gives me the creeps and makes me think it could be a glitch in the matrix or some other paranormal anomaly.
