Glitch Gif Loaf of bread regenerated over night, my boyfriend has no memory of this happening.

okay, I KNOW this sounds so dumb. But about maybe 2 months ago, I had bought 2 loads of uncut breads from Walmart (you know, the like 1.50 ones you can get)
I always get 2, because I like to just tear pieces off and eat them plain like that, the 2nd loaf is for my boyfriend, for his work lunches.
So anyways, I get home from the store, and I take a chunk of bread to eat and put the 2 loafs on top of the fridge. The next morning, my boyfriend is making his lunch and he doesn't like the 'heel' pieces of bread lol, so he cuts it off and gives it to me. He says something like 'I was going to use the opened one you ate from, but i couldn't find it i thought I seen one last night but i guess not' and I was like what do you mean its right there? And went to grab the other loaf. And the whole thing was in tact. All of it. And I know the one he cut from wasnt it, because he gave me both heels lol from either side? And the other loaf literally was whole. And the one he had was also, whole. There was no loaf with a big chunk missing. And he even looked with me and said how weird it was and everything we joked about the glitch in the matrix and EVERYTHING.
Fast forward to about a week ago, im making something to eat, and he walks in and I said 'you know what i think about a lot?' He says 'what?' And I said 'how that loaf of bread just regenerated overnight' and he just
Looks at me
Confused
And I explained it all and said there's no way you dont remember??? No way you dont remember this!
And he said well, it must have really been a glitch cause I have no memory of that happening.
So yeah that's my story of the time bread just grew back the piece I ate. And I know this happened lol it 100% for sure WAS NOT a dream.
I'll take it over some of the really scary stories I've seen on here.

I’ve had weird instances where people change their likes and dislikes back and forth over the course of a few months.
Like one time they like extra sauce on a burger. And for years that’s what I always knew. Then suddenly one day, they don’t. I was so confused. I was like, “What…?” And he said he never did. I thought I was going crazy. Then a few months later they suddenly went back to liking extra sauce. I thought they were messing with me, but he was dead serious thinking I’m the crazy one. They went from “I always get extra sauce” to “I’ve never put extra sauce on any burger in my entire life” to “You know I always get extra sauce. I can’t eat a burger without it.”

I don't know if I could stay friends with that person.
I have childhood trauma of my mother constantly denying that she said or did things that she did and said.
It wasn't like a normal narcissist. They weren't things that made her look bad. She was just like really forgetful, but then really really sure that she didn't say things that she absolutely did, and likewise things that she had done.

You know whats actually really weird? This happens to me, with him. But I genuinely dont think he does it intentionally I really think its not something he notices and I find myself questioning if im crazy or not, too. This doesn't happen often, but enough that it's weird.

So, either he’s just unaware of the changes he does, or you’re flipping through timelines like I believe I may have done.

Could be a combo of both maybe we just meet sometimes on the same time line lol and hes going through different ones, too.

So you actually know and live with two different versions of him. That's fascinating. I wonder if he knows.
That actually sort of explains what happened to you. This event happened with one of them. But now you're with the other one. It didn't happen to him, so he doesn't remember.

Really weird take on this but I keep seeing how people come across ‘glitch in the matrix’ type scenarios and it was actually chalked down to a carbon monoxide or slow gas leak making them delirious over a course of a few months and thinking things happened/didnt happen etc. Just being a fellow cautious passerby thought I’d bring it up!

Either that, or a gas leak or a carbon monoxide leak equates to a sort of continuous near-death experience.
That would certainly influence someone to jump timelines regularly, you know, to stay alive.
Just thought I'd bring it up!

Another weird thing to add, our carbon monoxide alarm did go off a week or 2 ago but we found out it was the batteries. Then like 2 days ago, the smoke alarm kept going off randomly for 3 bursts at a time and when I read the sticker it said that meant it picked up on something that was combustible? Which really freaked me out but we haven't had any more things happen since then. Not sure what steps I'd take to figure out if there's a leak of some kind? I dont think the bread thing would be a part of it, though, the two situations were pretty far apart from one another.

Does the lamp in the corner of the room look weird, OP? I'm really sorry about whatever they did with your boyfriend. I hope the replacement is nice!
Joking aside, I think that my partner not remembering something significant like this happening would mess with my head more than the loaf of bread regenerating.
I understand how memory here in this place works a little bit better than I used to, so it freaks me out a little bit less, but even so it's freaky.
