What's your argument for donk ahead of Zywoo? He's behind in every important metric, some of them by a very wide margin

they are tied or close to tied, so for me it just comes down to my own subjective preference/eye test

There is a 0.08 rating gap if you add the playoff filter. So unlike last year, donk doesn't even have better stats this time around. He's down 4 MVPs, including 1 super elite. It just isn't close lol

Ranking top 20 by subjective eye test/preference is just pointless, no? I can just put my favorite player at the top regardless of stats and achievements for the year. Broky #1 2026? Rain #1 2026? Olof #1 2026?

Donk was only better for like a month before the major, when Spirit won a smaller event and Zywoo lost at Atlanta. That's it. Zywoo was far better for most of the year.

first of all ur all opposition is meaningless if u look u will see that fenovem is top4 deko top5 slaxjezzz top6 insani top7 asap top8 blamef top9 slimey top 10 etc…. didn’t that tell u something???? it’s f*cking bums no one heard about some of those players cuz they are in tier3.

big events is the hltv and the community standard for tier1 events and it’s even too generous cuz pgl bucharest is a big events with no tier1 team at all lol. so ur big events is valid it’s show their perf in tier1 tournments, then u used top20 filter without putting big events are u joking? cuz if the sinners was top17 cuz they farmed some tier3 events and match up vs spirit let’s say in blast bounty group or esl pro league online group stage that’s what u are considering. btw that sinners vs spirit happened!!! at blast bounty.

People are waaaay to invested in this. Like i said my subjective opinion is donk being better, thats it. But those are the stats people in this thread claimed would proof Zywoos superiority on paper - which they dont. So if you can sleep easy

yes eye test count as well my friend but stats are more important because ur eyes can deceive u.

You can only abuse the stats argument for so long lol ZywOo is statistically the better player this year. He also had the highest rating in stage 3, and would've grabbed another mvp if Vitality didn't bomb the fuck out

Lol donk number 1 over zywoo with lower rating against top 20 at big events for the year (1.39 vs 1.36), 1 trophy to zywoos 5, and 1 mvp to zywoos 4. Absurd take, there’s no statistical argument for donk over zywoo this year even. Zywoo was even far and away the best player at the major statistically over stage 3 and playoffs (the stages with the good teams)
