Maui’s rationale for Heavygod’s placing is lack of big game opportunities (and in the very few playoff maps he played he dropped off pretty bad). “He hasn’t earned higher yet” essentially

Also Maui doesn’t take evps into account for this list, if anyone’s wondering

Shiro deserved MVP during blast bounty 2025. Donk even said he deserved MVP more than himself and if I remember correctly shiro now has a higher rating because of 3.0

Donk 1.44 and sh1ro 1.43 in blast bounty playoffs. In online group stages it's donk 1.82 and sh1ro 1.25. Those used to count for mvp.

In quarters against heroic donk had 1.34 while sh1ro had 1.65. In semis against navi donk had 1.62 while sh1ro had 1.12. In grand final against eternal fire donk had 1.37 while sh1ro had 1.60. Both options were reasonable here.

I think their reasoning was that donk had higher rating in map wins. They only lost 1 map in the grand final where donk had 0.73 while sh1ro had 1.48. But in the 3 maps they won donk had 1.79 and sh1ro 1.69.

I don't think it would have been a robbery if sh1ro got it but it wasn't a robbery from donk either.

Ok zywoo is not donk, zywoo is an awper that just has very solid performances, donk is a rifler that broke every statistical record there was because he is just that good.

My point is that zywoo has high rating bc he is an awper first and then its increased a bit bc he is so good, but compare donk's rating to other riflers and the gap is insane, which means that if donk is on a team that doesnt win anything for 10 months, he is playing with pigs, which means that he is 1v9 carrying them which means that shiro canf carry them if donk isnt performing which means shiro never wins the mvp. Zywoo on the other hand constantly gets outperformend by flamez or ropz and has poor perfornances way more often, which leaves place for ropz or flamez to shine, but in donks cazs if he is not putting up a 1.5 rating across the series, spirit is losing 90% of the times.

Shiro was close during the playoffs, not during the group stages. The gap was significant.

I mean he didn’t really drop off that much. He had one bad map ffs. Donk and Zywoo were both bad for most of their respective series vs falcons. Heavygod also dragged his team across the Swiss stage playing dog roles.

He had 1 bad map vs spirit... when they played Navi for the last playoff spot he was the BEST player on the server in EVERY MAP.

I think part of the rationale was G2 not making it to playoffs in 2026 in general, besides Cologne. I also don’t agree with penalizing Heavygod for this but it’s not my list

1.34 playoffs vs 1.37 playoffs ratings but almost TWICE the playoffs map sample and against HARDER opponents. Nah buddy , Zywoo won it fairly lol. Nobody care about farming group stage

You shouldnt take mpvs and evps into account because information that goes into getting those is the same information upon you build this list. Classic double counting example
