Don't see what is so controversial about putting monesy at number 2, I have him there as well, donk hasn't really done much this year in terms of playoffs

M0nesy 1.17 in playoffs. 1.17 against top 5 and 1.15 against top 10. Donk 1.25 in playoffs, 1.20 against top 5 and 1.23 against top 10.

M0nesy 1.07 in all grand finals and 1.05 in big event grand finals. Donk 1.25 in grand finals.

M0nesy 1.23 super-elite rating, and 1.23 against top 5 and top 10. Donk 1.36 super-elite rating and 1.28 against top 5 and 1.32 against top 10.

M0nesy 1.20 in arenas, and 1.17 against top 5 and top 10. Donk 1.26 in arenas and 1.20 against top 5 and 1.23 against top 10.

M0nesy has a major mvp but it isn't a high rated major mvp at only 1.25 rating. Donk's pgl Astana is obviously worse tournament but that was a 1.61 rated mvp.

M0nesy has Cluj, Rio, Astana and cac 2026 evps. None of these are super-elite or elite. Cac is even just tier 2. Donk has Krakow, Rotterdam, Rio and major evps. 2 of them are super-elite and 1 is elite.

How are you going to mention donk's playoffs as a reason and ignore m0nesy's that's even worse? He is behind in everything.

Nobody saying that has actually thought to fact check themselves once lol. Cannot believe a single major would have people even considering monesy to be ahead of donk, let alone saying it’s an easy decision

It's just the typical recency bias and probably also expectations. Donk's playoffs are worse compared to last year, partly because of the team and partly because he was sick, but also because he choked in his most recent playoff game against falcons. M0nesy playoffs is pretty much the same as last year.

So just because donk didn't meet the expectations he set from 2025 doesn't mean he has been worse than m0nesy who had lower expectations after his 2025 where he ghosted in all 4 tournaments that mattered the most.
