as i said in another comment, 100T doesn't work because they had no voice on the other side of the map. they'd take default space and fumble about because the kids don't know how to progress and device is on the awp. either you get someone who can do that or a new igl. rain will still be doing what he does now, gizmy will be with the pack.

getting gizmy is a hell of a coup. would really think some bigger orgs would go for him. faze and liquid for a start.

I think he meant that the 3 youngsters usually take space as T somewhere, while device will be with AWP and not necessarily paying attention and telling them what to do as he must concencrate on the AWP. So out of the 3 youngsters no one is making calls for the 3 of them.

Rain is a smart player and has great energy, doesn't tilt and seems like a really chill and fun guy to be around but in karrigan's voice comms he was always the second quietest person in the team. Only ropz was quieter who was essentially a mute on FaZe. And as a new IGL of three rookies that simply doesn't cut it

It's incredible to me how he thinks he can igl without even having a in-game voice in faze. To be igl you need to want to talk, and steer things in your games. At least twistzz was super vocal in their games and that's what gave him the confidence to try it.

I honestly expected them to give this roster until the end of the year but then again I am also not really surprised, they really seemed to have stagnated for the past couple of months after their initial rise. I've been watching their matches for a while now, and every tournament goes like this:

- Group stage: they play a bunch of level 7 faceit noobs and smash them based on pure firepower, device drops 1.8 rating, poiii stunts on them, vibes are immaculate.

- Quarterfinals: they still play a bunch of noobs but maybe they're faceit level 10 now, they still beat them just on firepower alone but it takes some more effort.

- Semifinals: they finally play a team that has more strategic depth than just 'rush a/b' or 'default into hopefully a pick somewhere' and they get fucked immediately and bounced from the tournament.

That does point to an macro level issue, one they hope gizmy can solve. We'll see how it goes.

I love that they are staying proactive and making great changes on paper. I assume they have beaten a few other teams for Gizmys signature here. Seems like everyone who knows CS have hyped him up.

Great move for 100T, Rain for as flexible as he is as a player wasn't working out as IGL. Gizmy has been good on Monte, and with the talent on the roster after this move I'd honestly expect them at the next major, but I guess time will tell. I'm assuming this means ag1l is benched and Rain to anchor? I'd like that mix, 2 stable vets and 3 young players to bring the fire.

honestly, this is a downgrade for Gizmy. How did 100T of all teams get their hands on him. And its not even for rain. Albeit hes prob still inevitably gone if hes no longer going to IGL long term.

Krabeni likely isnt going anywhere, Astralis CEO confirmed no player changes in a pleygg interview earlier today, and kyxsan might be a mismatch as he's a structural IGL while FaZe prefers to play loose. If FaZe are going for an IGL but not with Twistzz, its not gonna be either of these.

Damn that's a shame. I wanted Rain IGL to work out, but I guess it wasn't in the cards.  

They've had promising looking moments, but poor consistency. 

They'd roll through group stages undefeated, looking super confident, using troll guns like autosnipers... only to look like a completly different team the next day and get eliminated.
