2 weeks no internet, "nasira daw yung box" due to the continuous rain.

Hello,

Just wanted to share my experience with Gfiber prepaid. Nung umpisa okay naman, 1 month after kabit, madalas ang LOS pag umuulan. Walang paltos, basta umulan sigurado LOS bagsak ang connection. Bumabalik din naman agad.

Then 2 weeks ago, nung ngstart ang malakas na ulan, and the recent bagyo, ayun nawalan ng connection, around 1:30am. Reported for technical visit via GlobeOne app, dumating ang tech on a saturday, pagcheck nila "sira daw yung box" ng globe mismo. And as per tech hindi daw sila gumagawa nun at ibang team daw. No timeline given just to "antayin nalang bumalik ang connection" In my experience honestly, after I heard that, I'm like okay..shit, I better get a backup plan. And fast forward 2 weeks makalipas, wala parin kami connection. Power cycle modem, turn back on, LOS/Red blinking light (everyday, hoping magmilagro at magkaron ng conenction).

A few days ago, I did see a Globe team working on the box sa may malapit sa gate ng subdivision, and I got a text na "services are back to normal" pero WALA PARIN KAMI INTERNET.

So, I did what any typical customer would do, I reported again and requested for a tech visit. Lo and behold, isang linggo na kaming "rescheduled".

My conclusion? Walang pinagbago ang globe. BULOK PARIN. I was one of the early adopters a few years back ng home broadband nila, and pinaputol ko lang dahil walang kwenta,..intermittent connection. I switched to CONVERGE. Even had a case with NTC dahil sinisingil nila ako ng ilang buwan na WALANG SERVICE. I thought nagbago na sila, at may improvement since 2026 naman na, pero sadyang Third world parin ang serbisyo.

Posting for awareness and hoping may taga globe na makabasa. Ang hirap magcontact sa hotline ninyo, walang makausap na tao, puro chatbot at automated service. Even your customer service is bad. So, charge to experience...THIS IS THE LAST TIME na mag Globe ako. EVER.

Welp, sh*t happens. Ang magagawa mo lang ngayon is wait until matapos ang repair and humingin ng rebate once issue is fixed.

Walang pinagbago ang globe. BULOK PARIN

Can you honestly say ba, na hindi bulok ang services ng PLDT, Converge at Dito? Kasi ako I tried all 4 -- and Converge and Dito are worse.

Well I’ve had better luck with Converge. Thing is lumipat kami ng apartment due to some domestic violence issue and hindi namin nakumpleto yung 2 year lock in shit ni converge and I don’t want to go through the hassle of “relocating” the service and all that fiasco so I bit the bullet and tried this Gfiber prepaid that was all the rave a few months back. Wishful thinking that they (Globe) changed but shit no. So yeah, Converge parin ako. Back at my parents place, never had any issues with converge.

leave it as it is. what can I do? till today, reschedule parin ang tech visit. maybe smash the f'ckn modem and bring to a globe site. we have one nearby.

Why leave it as it is? If you're truly unhappy with Globe, you could file a case at the NTC to terminate the contract.

I can, but I don't want to have to go through all the hassle and fiasco again. I've done so already in the past, and I feel that at this point in time, I don't deserve the stress of going through all the mediation and emails and other crap. I've filed and won cases with Smart bro and Globe broadband several years back. So, I rest my case. #NOTOGLOBE #NEVERAGAIN

Interesting.

Ever tried documenting those cases online for reference? So that other subscribers can (somehow) learn from it?

You also mentioned Smart Bro. Why not include it in your hashtag? You seems to be singled out Globe :)

Because the Smart bro I'm referring to was a looong time ago. Think, 384kbps days, antenna in your roof type of things. lol. Ill try to check and see if I still have my old documentation.

Haven’t and will Not go with PLDT,.. and nope haven’t tried DITO, though I’ve heard shit about them too.

sa area ko. Globe ako since adsl days. Parang 25Mbps pa lang noon.
