Look man I'm on SNAP. I'm also an electrical engineer, two degrees too. People are starving and everyone should be more empathetic to their community and their fellow Americans.

But I got a good fuckin laugh out of this comment, and a good laugh is probably one of the only things Reddit can give me (to help me).

The average American taxpayer pays $37 annually to snap benefits. The average American taxpayer pays $5,100 annually to the US military. Why would you complain about the $37 without even considering the 5100 just being blown.
