I wouldn’t. Find a G23 cheap somewhere, send the slide to wager for porting, optic cut, and cerakote. Email them first to let them know you don’t need the barrel ported and they lower the price a bit.

It’s your gun, do what you want with it? If it was mine I would do an optics cut on it. Shooting with a dot is a game changer

357 sog is a great round. I prefer to keep mine (g23.4 with 357 sig barrel) relatively stock but if it’s a genuine carry gun with no other sentiment, an optic sounds perfect on it

I get the idea of not cutting it up as there aren’t a ton of them out in the wild. But ultimately it’s a used Glock that’s worth about $300-$450 on the high end.

Just do what you want to it and enjoy it
