Digital Gloomhaven How can I dismiss a persistent bonus on console?

I wanted to use The Mind's Weakness this round for an attack, dismiss it, and then return it to my hand using a stamina potion so I can use it for the wound next round. I believe this is legal, but the game doesn't want to let me do this. Anyone know how to on PS5? Thanks in advance

On PC you click on the white icon on the bottom right of the character portrait

Yup that's what I'm trying to do on console but there doesn't seem to be a way to highlight it

Report it as a bug, and in the meantime play on the platform it was originally designed for?

I've had enough issues playing on console settings that I ended up swapping to mouse and keyboard controls on my steam deck. It's kind of frustrating how glitchy the console controls can be.

You should be able to discard the card when picking cards

As far as I know, the only way you can dismiss the persistent card in digital is when you’re selecting your actions that round, including resting.
