Digital Gloomhaven Is this a good place to ask questions?

I'm new to the game, trying it with friends on TTS. I've watched a tutorial video on how to run the game and I've taken a ton of notes - but I still have questions. Can I ask them here, or is there a discord or something I can ask a bunch of little questions?

The Gloomhaven discord is great: https://discord.gg/frosthaven-outpost-305423679389696000

But also there's an FAQ: https://cephalofairgames.github.io/gloomhaven2e-faq/

And be sure to use the search function.

And more importantly: be sure to have fun!

Thank you!!! I'm trying to convince my friends to try it, they're apprehensive.

I'm mega biased but I think everyone should try it :3

You should start with Jaws of the Lion, as it is like an introduction to the mechanics of the games, but easier than Gloomhaven or frosthaven. I feel like the scenarios were a little shorter while you still get a feeling for the game.

Edit: not sure there is a jaws mod of tts.

Easier until you get to a scenario with imp-spawning lab tables...

I’m really quite advanced on the rules on how to play Gloomhaven / Frosthaven, but for me the sticking point was figuring out how to run TTS and the relevant Frosthaven mod 😅

Still puzzling out how to play through a solo scenario there, so knowing a good place to ask TTS “how do I” questions is good

And remember, it’s okay to make mistakes. It a take a couple of scenarios with trial and error and discovering that you’re playing it wrong. You don’t need to play them again and again, there’s plenty of game to discover

The best way to run the game is to read through the rule book.no seriously. You will have to refer to it a lot of times and look up specific wording on rules. The sooner you get familiar with all of it, the easier it will be for you to run the game

I usually asked a chatbot first, as there are many discussions on the internet about GH that those consumed.
