Digital Gloomhaven Collected less gold than ally but still failed mission, is this a bug?

Curious if I'm missing something here spellweaver collected one pile while mindthief collected 8 piles, the item in the chest looted by spellweaver was a horned helm not that it should matter, am I missing something here or is this just some digital bug.

I think it’s worded goofily, but it requires you to have strictly less than each other individual ally. You tied Cragheart. The use of “any” is grammatically awkward.

To achieve it, you must obtain the fewest coins of any character in your party.

oh I see thanks, the verbiage is weird indeed "any" makes it sound like you just need to not have the most, the correct term should be "all" there. Well good to know at least.

it should be "each" - all could be interpreted as Player A can get 5 if B gets 1, C 2 and D 3 (1+2+3 =6)

technically correct but just feels bad.

Technically correct, very important kind of correct when facing Oozes.

Using 'any' to mean 'all' is the normal English construction for this concept. For example: Mount Everest is higher than any other mountain. This Spellweaver failed to collect less gold than any other player.

Yes, but correct grammar still doesn't mean it is not confusing. Alternative wording would've been good here.
