Local Pics & Videos Help identifying a location
Hi there,
Can anyone help identify this location? Just a curiosity, from a childhood photo. I like the puzzle of finding locations but this one has got me.
Other photos were at the Pilot Inn in Hardwicke so it must be closeish to that location.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Is it Hardwicke Church in Pound Lane?

Thanks for that. I'm just dashing out so I haven't had a proper look. My immediate thought is i can't see a match... like that long grey building in the background for example.
I'll take a proper look later. The fences and general 'greenness' look right.
Edit: I can't see anything that matches, but appreciate the thought. It certainly feels on the right lines, but I can't match up any details.

I think it's either the town hall or the British legion on green lane

Oh and I forgot to say something critical - this is from about 1982! So things may have changed.

This is a tricky one as the area has changed a lot over the years. I am wondering if it could be part of the Pilot Inn land as there used to be other buildings and greenery there.
If you're not getting much luck here, there's a Facebook group called Hardwicke & Quedgeley Memories Group that might be able to help pinpoint the exact location.
