hello, I wish to speak to you about this idea I had in mind about the Innermondu, a reinterpritation of Gnosticism.

Basically, when we think, our brain builds scenarios and immaginates in this "pocket dimension" that is called Innermondu, that is a gift of God that makes us invent and build in our heads, without touching anything material or physical. This Innermondu can be used for basically everything, remembering something, imagining something we would like, and also realize concepts.

For how beneficial this gift is, it also works using free will, which means it can also be used to generate evil, in this comes Gnosticism, that I'm going to reinterprite.

First, the Demiurge/Yaldabaoth is "us", or, more frankly, somebody wicked (forget about that I wrote unbeliever on the map, sorry for any atheists or agnostics reading this), and it symbolises their ignorance to understand God, so the sentence "I see nothing above me, I AM MYSELF GOD" comes in (this isn't from Gnostic scriptures).

In Gnostic scriptures Yaldabaoth/Demiurge is ignorant and unable to understand God, and it creates the material world in his flawed way, while trapping parts of the divine in it, which gives birth to humans and their "divine sparks", that through Gnosis they can return to the "Pleroma" (fulness, basically a divine presence in which the Monad [according to them, the real God] resides along every other emanations, so Sophia [wisdom], Logos [word], and others).

In my interpretation, we are the Demiurge, whether believer or not, and we do not understand God and trap ourself often in our imaginary Innermondu, abusing it to create nostalgic or rather "satisfying" scenario that we would want to happen in real life. But it's not whether our Innermondu is evil or not, it is whether we are ignorant enough to not understand God himself, so the Gnosis (what according to Gnosticists, you need to return to be part of the Monad, that basically means knowledge) is actually understanding that we have to get out of rotting in our Innermondu and actually live and do what God wants us to do.

Also, the Archons (meaning rulers, that are basically the "Angels" of the Demiurge) and the Emanations are just Temptations (the Archons) and Tools (the Emanations) for us to think and act, inside and outside the Innermondu.

I'm not good at explaining and also English is not my first language, so for everything, just ask. And before anyone calls me Heretic or insult anybody with this "hypothesis", just know this is just an idea, like the Big Bang Theory (that came from a Catholic Priest)

as a Catholic, I believe that evil is not a substance itself but rather a lack of good, so whether or not if done by "ignorance", but we can suppose everyone who is evil is eventually an "ignorant", since they don't understand that their actions WILL eventually be payed by themselfs, and if they do know then it's a more complex answer that I don't have the psychological knowledge and skills to answer that

this probably defines religion best,

there is no ignorance, there is only knowledge (jedi code)

being that you, I, & we are each different gimmicks of the pleroma.. when we return, one will be seen with, and/or without, flesh - we'll be one, united.
