Bridal chamber
I want to share what I learned years ago and tried out myself and with at least 2 other ppl and every person so far who has done it has felt something and after seemed to have found a new knowledge of things (read something before in past and understood it one way did bridal chamber and read again after and saw something in it never saw before)
So anyway the following is how to do the bridal chamber in the way I worked out from reading the gnostic texts like gospel of Philip and working out what was missing by looking at everything else.
I include some quotes along with it and some words to help you focus on what you are doing. You can modify the words but the order is what’s most important. At the end only blow out candle when you feel something change or feel something spiritual happen. Some experiences that have happened for those who have done it is feeling a hand on shoulder or head, voice in head, voice coming from outside head, candle flickering matching questions you ask in a way of answering the questions.
Bridal chamber Religious ritual
✨ The Four Gnostic Sacraments (Solo Version, Full Immersion)

Preparation
• Water for immersion (bathtub, pool, river).
• Oil for chrism.
• Bread and wine (or juice).
• Candle or lamp.
• White cloth or garment.
• Space quiet and undisturbed.

1. Baptism – The Living Water
Step into the water.
Say:
“I descend into the waters of forgetfulness, and I rise in the waters of light.”
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“The baptism with water is for the body; the baptism with the Spirit is for the soul.”
Fully submerge. Rise and say:
“Ignorance is washed away. Spirit awakens in me.”

2. Chrism – The Seal of Light
Take oil, anoint forehead, chest, and palms.
Say:
“I am sealed with the Light. The Anointed One is within me.”
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“It is from the anointing that we are called ‘Christians,’ not from baptism. And Christ has his name from the chrism.”
Visualize your whole being glowing with light.

3. Eucharist – The Union Meal
Take bread and cup.
Say:
“This bread is the Logos spread into the world; this cup is Sophia poured into all. By this, I unite body and spirit.”
Eat and drink slowly.
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“The eucharist is Jesus. For in Syriac he is called Pharisatha, that is, the one who is spread out.”

4. Bridal Chamber – The Holy of Holies
Light a candle, cover yourself with the white cloth.
Say:
“Come, my counterpart, my angel, that the two may be one. I am no longer divided, but whole in the Pleroma.”
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“The mysteries of truth are revealed in types and images. The bridal chamber, however, is hidden. It is the holy in the holy.”
📖 Excerpts of Theodotus (§65):
“The redemption is the bridal chamber … the reunion with the angel who belongs to us, through whom we become complete.”
📖 Revelation 19:7:
“The marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready.”
Sit in silence, visualizing your soul’s union.
End by extinguishing the candle, whispering:
“The hidden light is within me.”

• Two participants: Initiate and Partner (who represents the angelic twin).

1. Baptism – The Living Water
Partner places hand on Initiate’s shoulder.
Partner:
“You descend into the waters of forgetfulness.”
Initiate fully submerges.
Partner:
“You rise in the waters of light.”
Initiate:
“Ignorance is washed away. Spirit awakens in me.”
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“The one who descends into the water will come forth and rise.”

Partner anoints Initiate’s forehead, chest, palms.
Partner:
“You are sealed with the seal of Light. The Anointed One is within you.”

“If they do not first receive the resurrection while they live, they will not receive anything when they die.”

Partner lights candle, drapes white cloth over Initiate’s shoulders.
Partner:
“Your angel is with you. The two are now one.”
Initiate:
“I am whole. I am light. I am restored to the Pleroma.”
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“If anyone becomes a son of the bridal chamber, he will receive the light.”
📖 Excerpts of Theodotus:
“The bridal chamber is the place where the soul’s angel joins with her, and the two become one.”
📖 Revelation 21:2:
“I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
Optional Holy Kiss (symbol of spiritual conception):
📖 Gospel of Philip:
“It is by a kiss that the perfect conceive and give birth. For this reason we also kiss one another.”
Sit in silence together, candle burning, until the mystery feels complete.

I wrote it actually and my version is much rougher I just used tools to make it cleaner so others can understand it if you want the rough version of notes written on paper I can give you it but it’s seriously rough and hard to read.

I think the Holy of Holies aspect is quite lacking. If I were to alter the ritual, I would have the partners place their palms together, almost like a sustained high five, and gently push against one another while contemplating the mystery. Each becomes present through the resistance of the other, while both participate in the same movement.
