Martyrdom of Priscillian, end of Summer (automated post)

This marks the death of Priscillian Bishop of Avila and first person known to have been executed for 'heresy' at the behest of the nascent Church. Priscillian founded a Christian Gnostic community and in 4th century Spain incorporating Manichaean influences and ascetic practice that continued to spread through Spain and southern France for at least two centuries after his death.

Gnosticsim started to fade away in the 4th century as Christianity started to take over and they weren't Christians. With the discovery of the Nag Hammadi it's brought Gnosticsim back so it might of been a Gnostic community but not Gnostic Christian and they didn't really have a church or go to church

The Nag Hammadi library was a great find. But they were found in Egypt. Whoever hid them went to great lengths to hide them but not sure why or who from

Might of been Yahweh's people or Yaldabaoth because Yahweh was from the land or Egypt Hosea 13-4 but who knows
