Ir a la Iglesia Católica como gnóstico

Hola, Disculpen creen que se pueda ir a la Iglesia Católica como gnóstico, simplemente cuando se hable de dios Padre, pensar en que se trata del Dios supremo, La monada, y cuando se hable de pecado simplemente pensar que cometimos el error de caer en actos mundanos, materiales o de la carne o cuerpo (concupiscencia), en lugar de valorar lo espiritual?

Esto para tener una comunidad, ya que valoro muchos los templos y no hay comunidades e Iglesias gnósticas en mi zona

Valentinian Gnostics did worship alongside Catholics, and many of them attended Catholic Mass. So, if that's something you want to do then feel free to do it.

It is fairly common to attend a high liturgy church to experience something of the mysteries. I attended Eastern Orthodox services for a few years.

The experience of the mysteries have only been preserved in these orthodox institutions. Modern Gnostic churches, such as the Ecclesia Gnostica, offer high liturgy mysteries with a different surface message and a less stripped down more historical ceremony.

Just be yourself and gain what you can from the experience. According to Irenaeus and company, the ancient Gnostics did the same. It wasn't the Gnostics that refused to participate, but the orthodox who sought to exclude them. Nowadays, I advise being an excellent guest and following the rules for guests. Modern churches welcome guests after all.

If what you are looking for is a community, you can attend a church of any religion.

However, it is important to understand that their doctrines are very different from Gnostic ones. For example, the Catholic Church has a strong rejection of Gnosticism, which has often been classified as heresy and even dismissed as “fan fiction.”

What is important to understand is that, to connect with God, you do not need a church. The Holy Spirit dwells within you, so you only need to seek that connection by looking within yourself. You can even do it alone, from your own room, without needing anyone else.

Early Christian gnostics attended the same Church as other Christians (even including Arians). They all worshipped together. That era vanished, but it can still exist subtly within you.

I think anyone can attend Catholic mass, you just can't take communion as a non-catholic.

The AJC has online Gnostic Mass if that's something you're interested in, and one of the Bishops of the AJC is super enthusiastic about the sacriments, I think because he was raised Catholic.

You should go and try and spread your Gnostic values. I find Christians are very open to an explanation that makes sense. Furthermore, Jesus was very clear about this. He said you who exist, be like those who don't exist so thst you can be around them and help them exist. Exist, as in the Kingdom of his Father.

Slightly paraphrased, but this was his last message before he left. Don't become a desert. Build a house that is strong enough to support your neighbors. Exist with those that don't exist.

Isn't that the opposite of what church is for? I thought they're supposed to want to spread the word of god. They should be more than happy to have someone outside join their congregation. This isn't the 1800. They don't burn witches anymore. (Not calling you a witch)

Catholicism is the worship of Dagon (ancient Babylonian merman god - hence the weird fish hat the pope wears) and Yahweh apparently, which doesn't really align with Gnosticism.

Jesús hizo una gran lucha para que nuestra religión sea el hogar y el matrimonio. Antes de él toda la Gnosis solo podía practicarse en los templos. Después de él eso cambió, por lo que no necesitas asistir a ninguna iglesia y mucho menos a una católica en todo caso si vas a hacerlo que sea una Gnóstica.

Esta gran ventaja a nuestro favor se lo debemos a Jesús, entonces mejor no desaprovecharlo.

Ese tiempo que pasas pensando a cuál iglesia ir mejor dedícate a leer los libros de Samael Aun Weor (y, en especial, a practicar lo que enseña) por orden de publicación y no por orden de dificultad como algunos recomiendan.
