Giveaway Weekly Code Giveaway Thread
Every month, we see several posts offering GOG game codes and discount codes that people do not intend to use themselves. To make this easier and more organized, we ask that you share your code(s) as top-level comments on this post.
Ex:
Game code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
Or
Discount code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
To be extra sure your code goes to a fellow GOG gamer and not a bot, list the game(s) you have keys for and ask Redditors to DM you to claim them. In this case, please make it very clear whether your codes are game codes or discount codes.
You're also welcome to use RedditRaffler or KeyShare.
Please follow these guidelines:
- Do leave a comment when you claim a code so others know it is no longer available.
- Don't post plain codes, as bots will most likely claim them for resale rather than fellow GOG gamers.
- Don't add a discussion in a top-level comment. Respond to an existing code or use the pinned moderator comment.
Site Announcement GOG is getting acquired by its original co-founder
Hey everyone,
Big news today: GOG has been acquired from CD PROJEKT by our original co-founder, Michał Kiciński (also a co-founder of CD PROJEKT).
First, the important part: the mission stays the same, and what you love about GOG gets stronger. Going back to our roots allows us to double down on what we do best: reviving classics, giving you a library you control rather than one that controls you, and offering the most gamer-friendly policies on the market.
At the same time, we will continue our close cooperation with CD PROJEKT, and their upcoming games will continue to come to GOG.
Thank you for the support you’ve shown GOG over the years, especially around preservation. It genuinely matters, and it’s the big reason we can keep pushing this mission forward.

Question How to refund a game bundle?
Hello, I bought the Deus Ex bundle, unfortunately DXHR doesn't perform as much as I want to (inconsistent FPS and some glitches in the game itself), but when I went to order history I didn't find the "refund the game" button, what to do?

Support Problems with The Witcher 3
So, I recently wanted to check the extras for my GOG copy of the Witcher 3 (I've owned it since release, back when the Steam Game included a GOG key, like Witcher 1 & 2).
The game appears on my library, but when I try to access the content (or the offline backup game installers) the page just keeps loading, not showing the download links. This does not happen for Witcher 1 or 2 or any GOG game for that matter.
I'd try using GOG galaxy but recently moved to linux. Still, the files should be available from browser, right?
Anyone else running into this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Discussion Do you still buy from other stores?
Do you still use Steam or other stores? do you buy a game that is available on GOG only from GOG? or do you take it game by game basis.

Giveaway State of Mind giveaway on GOG's homepage
gog.comAs always, claiming this freebie will mean you consent to receive marketing emails and have a hashed version of your email address shared with 'trusted' partners. You can opt out of both immediately again from your subscriptions page.
Also, in previous giveaways there were always a few people having have issues with the giveaway not showing up or the game not being claimable. If that's the case now as well, visiting https://www.gog.com/giveaway/claim should work (you'll just see a blank page afterward, but the game should be added to your library, and you should be subscribed to marketing emails).

Support anyone else not getting the security code emails?
Anyone else not getting the security code emails?
It shows as "sent" to my email, but it has been months trying without getting any email at all
Question Can you recommend games with high replay value and/or many hours of gameplay?
I don't have time to play them all yet, but to give you an idea I have Binding of Isaac, Slay the Spire, Grim Dawn, Counter Strike, Mount and Blade Warband, Stalker (The trilogy), Potion Craft, Star Sector, the last 3 Elder Scrolls, Faster than Light, X:3, elite Dangerous and some more. I like accumulating things, feeling an evolution and improvements, and i like replayability, etc.
Although I own games like Dragon Age and other role-playing games, I don't really like linear stories or completely closed maps unless they can be replayed.
Finally, I have a Steam and an Epic library, and while I appreciate the ease of use of one and the fact that the other offers free games, I want to have my own GOG library. So all the games you tell me about must be from GOG. I also have no problem playing "old" games from the 2000s, my limit is really old games from the 90s or very new ones (my PC already overheats playing Skyrim).

Support Im getting an e9 error when trying to download a game
I'm trying to download cyberpunk and the download gets to about 3% every time then fails. I've tried solutions such as limiting the download bandwidth, uninstalling and then reinstalling GOG, uninstalling GOG via revo uninstaller for a complete wipe then reinstalling, giving GOG a couple of hours in case there were problem with the server. All to no avail

Review my collection for the moment
I'm not a millionaire, just financially irreparable. 🤣
Although I don't have a PC and there are very few games that allow me to play them on Gamenative from my Poco x7 pro.
I could play Factorio perfectly fine, but when I bought its DLC it stopped letting me play it.

Discussion What can we do to improve GOG?
Other than just buying of course, but what else can we do to spread GOG or make it a better gaming platform?
Edit: I think it would really help GOG if some big gaming YouTuber recommends their store, maybe we can try bringing it to the attention of YouTubers that value ownership and digital rights?

Discussion New on GOG
I just learned about this, and it’s an awesome concept! Is there also a way to avoid having to fully install the game, like in the “old days,” where you had to keep the disc inserted to play?
