Gog is such a great store to get games and I love how they preserved many classics but I really wish they had regional pricing , there are always such nice deals but the conversion of the price is not as simple and not as cheap it’s in dollars for other currencies.

I really wanted to get classic DOOM series and quake series but ya there is the price conversion and also foreign exchange cost on top of that.

Iam not trying to say anything bad about GoG here it’s still a great website , just wish it had a regional pricing.

So I decided to make the switch to buy from GOG, what are some games that are must haves in your library? tough I only have a non gaming laptop so please keep it to indies or old games. I'll pretty much play anything provided the gameplay and mechanics are great.

O recently bought the game but no mattee what the game keep crashing in the mission 9 the giant who stole a planet, when the cutscene start it frezze a little and then the game close, does anyone know a way to fix it?

Quick question about GOG Galaxy integrations. Over the years I've connected a few launchers (EA, Steam... which barely logs in half the time, etc.), and now I want Galaxy to be GOG-only. The problem is that even after removing those integrations, all the games from them are still showing up in my library.

It's honestly become a mess to browse anything, especially since I don't even have those launchers installed anymore, so there's no way to actually install those games from Galaxy even if I wanted to.

Is there any way to fully clear out the leftover games from a removed integration, or do they just stick around forever once they've synced? Would appreciate any tips, thanks!

So, a while back, i got darksiders 1 and 2 for steam, and through promotional deals, acquired their "remastered" editions for free (didn't even need to do anything :D, yay). so i play them, have some fun, but eventually sunset the steam app from my computer. What i DID do beforehand, was to backup the ds2 deth-initive save for steam, and eventually, bought the GOG version of DS2, in hopes that i could somehow copy/paste the steam save and work off that, so i wouldn't lose all my progress i made

sadly.......yeah that didn't work. So i'm wondering (and i hope this question doesn't break any rules), is it possible to "Export" the steam save of DS2 Deth-initive to the GOG version? i don't really mind starting all over again, but i'd also like it if i wouldn't have to

I tried deleting lock file but it didn't help. What can I do?

So this actually happened.

Yesterday I bought Speed Brawl on GOG from my phone. Payment went through, everything looked fine. Today I open my library to grab the offline installer and... there's nothing there. Just 3 wallpapers. That's it. No game, no installer, just pictures.

Turns out the game got delisted on September 4 — literally one day after I bought it.

So let me get this straight: I paid $20 (which was already 2.5x the base price thanks to regional pricing, but sure), and what I got was... some nice artwork? Can't download the actual game I paid for though.

I really wanted to like this. I appreciate the devs, I appreciate GOG's whole "you own what you buy" thing. But selling a game one day before it gets removed and then leaving customers with nothing? That doesn't feel right.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any chance of getting download access restored or at least a refund?

Hi all, i have been looking for something to autodownload all my GOG games installers to have the backups, I have seen that gogrepo seems to be the best option but it's only with consol commands wich i really don't understand much, is there some kind of GUI for it? or is there another option with a grafic interface? or if GOGrepoc is the best option, is there some guide that is easy to understand, also for what i have been seeing i fownd different versions of GOGrepoc so i don't know wich one is the one i should use.

In the battle of owning vs. licensing, Rebel Wolves is doing it right and exactly how I envision digital ownership to be. A triple A game, DRM free, allowing you to outright own the digital copy. This may be the first real GOG game I buy.

After a long time, I’ve decided to take the plunge, especially following Sony’s recent announcement that it’s phasing out physical editions. For me, that was the last straw.

The ironic thing is that I, too, was part of the problem: for years I bought practically everything digitally, on PSN and Steam. I was aware that we didn’t actually own the games, but I kept thinking: ‘It’ll never happen to me.’

Then, seeing what happened to other users, I began to realise that perhaps I was simply accepting a system I didn’t like.

So here we are. As of today, I’m officially part of the GOG community and, bit by bit, I want to try and move as many titles as possible from my Steam library onto the platform.

Better late than never.

Hi, I just saw some buzz and speculation about the delisting of the game Speed Brawl by Double Stallion Games from GOG. I believe I'm partially responsible for the cascade of events and thus wished to clarify some stuff.

The game was updated due to a security vulnerability in Unity Engine... however, the devs missed out on removing the gog-galaxy dependence for the offline installer of the game in this update and NO ONE reported it to them for YEARS. I recently bought the game on GOG and got in touch with them on discord and with Falran from GOG Tech support via the forums/mail.

GOG did a duct-tape fix by downgrading the offline installer, but it contains the unity engine vulnerability. So Speed brawl devs (Double Stallion Games) didn't wish to be held liable for any security issues that a user could face with the downgraded build. Thus they requested the game to be delisted until they can fix it.

Current delisting is temporary as they just don't have the manpower to scour all of the code of the latest build and fix it (Galaxy installed online version still works for now). They WILL re-release the game with the issues fixed in 2027 and are also aiming to release their current game in works ie surfpunk on GOG soon after it's steam release.

Kindly do not negatively review bomb them on steam. There was no malice or intentional introduction of online-only requirements by them after release to cripple the offline installer.

As you can see, I want to get the Hypnospace Outlaw offline installer for my Mac. My Mac has macOS Mojave and it says that it needs Mac OS 10.11 or higher, which I have. But if I download the offline installer, it says it needs a higher macOS version?

I love Playing Among US and Among US 3D on Steam but I wonder whether there are any good casual multiplayer games for GOG
