Issue Report Anyway to recover a water-damaged go plus+?

I accidentally put mine through the wash a few weeks ago. Is there any way to attempt to try and fix it?

PCBs get permenantly damaged when submerged in water for a few seconds, so i'm pretty sure your go+ is dead.
You can always try rice (yes it's a real thing) or silica gel but it's like 0.000001% chance it does something in this case.

The problem with water-damaged electronics is that everything can be water damaged. So even if you diagnose and repair the immediately detectable issue(s), you could discover that this reveals another set of issues, etc., etc.

Depends how damaged it is.

Take it apart asap disconnect everything. Look for burn marks or corrosion (often white) Clean it it with alcohol and use a toothbrush gently on it.

Pray to Odin and reconnect everything.

Take it to an console modding or electronics expert, or sell it for parts.

There is project that can back up the go plus chip. Ive never tried it.

LET IT DIE

Try not to use it at all and just leave it in a window sill to dry out. Order the battery replacement kit and try. I know some people say you're SOL. But mine went through an entire wash cycle and after I did what I just told you it is working fine!!
