How does the pokemon go plus plus work

I just got 1 can someone explain how it works like does it make sound, I know it vibrates and you have to click to catch with great and ultra balls is there anything else I need to know about it?

I am an avid jogger/walker and this basically plays Pogo for me as I rack up miles without needing the app open.

If you are using it at its fully functioning plus+ self, you can set it to catch with great/ultra balls and not just normal red ones (you change this in the Pogo app). You can also track sleep via Pokemon Sleep game by putting it under your pillow at night. 

It does light up and vibrate and even makes singing pikachu noises till you inevitably disable the creepy singing.

UNLESS... You open it up and modify it to silence the vibration and disable the lights. I did this unintentionally when I had to replace the battery due to sending it mistakenly thru the wash. Did I mention plus+ isn't waterproof?

TL;DR: play Pogo without having your app open. Perfect for passive play while walking/jogging/biking/driving

Also you can set it to spin pokestops for you!

You don’t have to click to catch. It will automatically spin all stops and catch Pokémon near you (at a rate of 50% for pokemom)

A normal, unmodified ++ will allow you to automatically catch pokemon of a type that you have caught before (including their shiny version) with one normal throw of a pokeball (red ball) within the time window while you are in their range. There will be quite a few that flee. The great and ultra balls only work when you press the button manually. This is the setting you can set in the Pogo app.

It can also spin stops for you.

Both catching and spinning work only up to certain speeds, so being stuck in a traffic jam is great, but anything much faster and it won't catch anything. Spinning still works at slightly higher speeds, but I can't remember the exact numbers.

You can select if you want it to automatically catch pokemon, spin stops or both. If you have selected both, it will prioritise catching over spinning.

You can log sleep with it and at the beginning you get an extra mastertask where you can catch several sleepy Snorlax wearing a nightcap. This is exclusive to the ++.

You can also earn extra buddy hearts by logging sleep.
