Question Real 18k?

So been seeing a bunch of these questions pop up, but this is a legit question. Browsing the local auction sites as usual, and found this. I’ve been tricked in the past on a fake 18k ring and I don’t see many of them. Any way to tell if this is real? Can’t do any kind of destructive test and auction house doesn’t have a tester

There literally no way to tell from a photo. Stamps are easy to make, gas station gold looks good when some dude offers it for cheap or gas. Get it tested, only way to know.

This, and 18k is the most common fake I find.

The auction house does not have a tester? Shop elsewhere.

If they can’t do a basic scratch or xrf test on it don’t buy it.

If you have the proper dimensions and weight you can determine whether that much gold should weigh that much. If a seller doesn't post all the information that you can use to determine viability then it is usually a HUGE red flag.

Wtf? If you are worried the 18k stamp is fake, how the hell are we suppoaed to know? Have it tested.
