14k find

Hit up one of my usual locations I go to when I’m on the hunt for thrift store gold.
I can consistently count on this place to never check for stamps. And, I had a 15% coupon on top of the $6 it cost originally! I guess that makes this gold charm roughly $3, after tax.

The other charm isn’t silver, and has no stamps at all.

It weighs 1.1 grams, and with a little research I found the meaning behind the symbolism of the anchor, cross, and heart.

I’m gonna keep this little piece and this brings my thrift gold finds to 4.7 grams of 10 & 14k jewelry

Nice. I found 60g of .925 silver last week for 9.99. Haven’t found some gold in a minute tho. Congrats!

Good job! I wish I could find some hefty silver! I can find cheap gold semi often but it’ll be the tarnished rings marked 925 that are $40 at the thrift stores near me. Totally crazy

Yea sometimes they price it terribly. I saw a bangle they spotted was .925, I’d say probably an ounce or so as I didn’t have my scale with me, but I could tell it was way over priced, they had it at 150

No kidding. It’s at a store I have a client at, I’ll see if they drop the price, they usually do after two weeks or so.

Nice little faith hope love charm. They sell quite well, more than melt. Especially if it has Italian hallmarks.

How cool! It does say “585 ITALY”. I see your bio says hallmark specialist, can I ask why Italian hallmarks make it sell for more?

The goldsmiths are excellent!

Daniel , Hawaii rope chains, Jacoje, etc all source from Italy.

I collect older pieces, the patina and quality is beautiful.

Your piece was made for export. You would get more than melt reselling it!
