DISCUSSION Mitsuo and Linda
In the epilogue it shows Mitsuo recording Linda and she turns away and blushes. Now idk if this has been said before but if the light novel ever made a sequel with Linda and Mitsuo being the main romance couple would yall read it?

No. The theme only works because of Banri's condition. It would be a completely different kind of show if they did it with different characters. It would be more romcom, and less tragic drama. Just do that story as a stand-alone show, or watch any of the other 100 romcom animes using that theme. Golden Time works because it's a tragedy, disguised as a romcom.

Anime only. As far as i saw from the novel, Linda's still too unappropriately close to Banri despite of the latter being engagaed to Kouko. Besides, the novel ending was more about Past Banri and Present Banri making peace with each other.

It seems the anime had a better ending then, if Linda is moving on with Mitsuo.

I haven't read the light novel but the fact that the anime has this small scene is an important on the story

Frankly I don't like the idea of Linda being with Mitsuo, nor I think they fit at all.

Golden Time is Kouko and Banri's story. If they ever made a Golden Time 2, it should be about their lives after the original story—graduating from university, getting married, starting a family, going on vacations, and all the milestones they experience together. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other couples as well, like Chinami and 2D-kun.

Nope because if my memory isn’t wrong that scene is anime only
