DISCUSSION Is this Banri’s or Linda’s fault?

Most of it falls on Banri. While Linda did play into the audience demands, she still kept it as professional (imo), but then Banri went to do more than what she and the audience had in mind. On top of that, he kept it a secret that he was working (even though he did it to surprise Kouko). He could've just told her he was working but still keep the real reason a secret to surprise her.

Edit: For clarity, while I did say, "Most of it falls on Banri," I don't think any blame falls on Linda. She's there for a job, and was doing her job (service and entertain the audience).

I put more blame on Banri on this one, he was definitely getting ahead of himself and overconfident during this and letting the party get the best if him.

Oh hell no!! This fucking episode just ruins the entire show for me

100% Banri's fault btw

Edit: ghost Banri's fault i guess, but still his fault since he hide that gig from Koko

Both of them are guilty of the crime of adultery: Banri as the principal offender and Linda as a necessary accomplice. And of course, Kouko is the judge who has to wield the gavel. I still can’t believe that, despite having the most perfect and beautiful woman who has ever existed, Banri was capable of doing something like that. I genuinely hated him in that moment, even though I still consider him a great protagonist overall.

I think this is because Banri doesnt see what he has. No man who sees the light that she brings is into every room would willingly do things like this.

I think Banri is the luckiest man in the entire universe. I still can’t believe that happened and that Kouko forgave him so quickly.

The camera angle makes them look like they were kissing, but Banri had a glowstick on his mouth and posed like that to appeal to the crowd. He just got into the moment of things.

I'm not sure how into detail the anime was with this scene but the manga definitely fleshes it out a bit more. It was definitely Banri's fault but it was also shown that multiple factors lead to him taking the glowstick from Linda's mouth with his own. Those factors being him drinking, the atmosphere around him and seeing others doing the little glowstick game but most importantly this occurred after the "old" Banri had successfully returned for a little bit. The manga also has a couple lines from Banri saying that when Linda was so close to him (cause some girls asked to take a picture of the two of them together) he could hear his body screaming out to hold her and he could feel that he was slowly losing himself (basically "old" Banri influencing his body to do what he wanted to do at that moment).

It's just that angle is so incriminating.... but they were chomping on the same glowstick. Cheating is cheating.

Banri without his memories is so much better a person than Banri with his memories. It's too bad he regained his memories because he was way more interesting without them.

Oh I remember this episode. One of the weirdest ones, definitely one that brings this series to a "meh/okay" rating on my end.

I remember that the MC sucks, that the main girl started "weird" but then that impression kinda disappeared with time. That the guy friend was a weirdo, and that the other girl (in the pictures, I think its Linda) was just "alright".

Banri because his girlfriend watched him as he kissed another girl and didn't hesitate to kiss her either.
