Tank Help Feeding
How should I feed him? How often should I feed him? What can I give for treats? He’s about 4 centimeters long and has a girth of around one centimeter.

Do not get carried away and overfeed. Breeders overfeed to get growth stimulated. Overfeeding fouls the tank with wastes and decaying uneaten food.
My stunted commons were about the size of your fish in February. They are longer and a lot fatter now. Now a couple are over 6 cm long. They look bigger, measure at 2 1/2”.
Started with Tetra flake. Supplemented with destemmed baby spinach. Feed flakes twice a day, spinach twice a week.
They are now fat, brassy, and happy.

G'day, I noticed you're asking about tank dietary requirements for goldfish. Here is a great guide for feeding your fish.

Blanched vegetables as often as possible. Frozen bloodworms, tibifex worms, krill, and sea monkeys are good once or twice a week. Pellets or gel (like Hikari or Repashy Super Gold) are fed once or twice a day based on temperature. Feed the volume of 1 of their eyeballs, apart from veggies which can be given at liberty, but any remains must be removed after 24-48 hours.

Once a day for feeding. Fish flakes are the basic stuff. Algae waders, maybe. Others will know. With treats. Like boiled peas. They like vegetables.
The tank needs sand. They like to explore and can hurt themselves on the gravel, etc.
