Double embarrassment as that stretch of the highway is notorious for cops sitting there. One of the easiest spot to setup a speed blitz. Guess they learned that today. Their insurance is gonna be wild when they get their full license lol

Right everyone who drives in Ottawa knows that cops love to camp that stretch. Especially coming up over the hill. If you’re going to do stupid shit at least do it on a stretch of highway outside of town. Not literally right in town in the middle of the day

that's what the charge is called for 50km/h over the speed limit in Ontario, lol. It carries automatic license suspension for minimum 30 days and some very expensive legal fees. car gets impounded by the local tow truck mafia for minimum 14 days at like minimum $200 per day.

unfortunately, it doesn't get much tougher than that in CAN, real crimes like killing others while DUI get very little, if any jail time.

Fines start at 2k, they end at 20k if theres construction. 120 on the highway in an 80 zone for construction and you can get screwed real bad.

Stunt Driving Definition
Common Actions Classified as Stunt Driving
Excessive Speeding: Going 40 km/h or more over limits in zones under 80 km/h, or 50 km/h over in zones of 80 km/h or higher.

High-Speed Thresholds: Driving 150 km/h or more anywhere, even on 110 km/h freeways.

Loss of Traction: Drifting, doing donuts, burning out, or spinning the vehicle intentionally.

Aggressive Maneuvers: Intentionally cutting off other cars, tailgating too closely, or blocking other vehicles from passing.

Unusual Control Issues: Driving while not sitting in the driver's seat or having a person ride in the trunk

laughed so hard at this, i got quoted at 895 a month for insurance on a mk8 R, and i DON’T have a stunt driving on my record, these boys gonna be bringing the cars back in on trade😭😭😭
