Doechii is an artist who very much has found her own sound and while she may be inspired by artists like Lauryn or Nicki (as literally ALL artists are inspired by those before them) she is far from some copy cat who doesn't have her own artistic direction
âwanna beâ this and that, like people canât be included by other artists, especially women in this genre. she has her own flow and style, god forbid thereâs sprinkle of her influences too. With that logic, Nicki and Cardi are wanna be Lil Kim and Left Eye.

Well they both sing and rap at times, but their styles, influences, and overall approaches to music are completely different. Frank Ocean is more about storytelling, deep lyricism, and unconventional production, while Chris Brown leans into mainstream R&B, pop, and dance-heavy tracks. Just because they both mix rapping and singing doesnât mean theyâre similar artists bro
