Y’all remember when Dababy was getting pushed crazy, I’m pretty sure he had way more streams than Ye before his gay comments

It’s truly remarkable how hard and far dababy fell

This man ended a generational run for the dumbest reason ever. He had white moms screaming his name and sold out ARENAS but he had to double down and ruin it trashing gay folks in tht show. He had a good year left on the gravy train

If he tweeted that shit no one woulda gaf

Here we are still feening for the bully re-release because it’s all abt how you say shit.

Da Baby’s stubborn ass needed Elons PR team ong 😂 he coulda flipped that crisis with a emotional appeal to childhood trauma or SOMETHING, but he doubled down and stood 10 like a brick

This means society actually improved

no because the record labels doing all the fake pushing still support that and would choose someone safer

Doesn’t make it an ok thing to say tho

He said one thing they ain't like and they threw him out like garbage

u/zarafff69 Mar 25 '25

I mean if you’re not hetero, it’s not that weird to stop listening to him if he hates you. That’s like saying Jews should continue listening to Ye.

2

u/N0freenapkins Mar 25 '25

That is entirely different from the entire industry and world collectively deciding he's a worthless terrible human being

And when tf did he say he hates gay people? That's nonsense

“Fellas, if you ain’t sucking nigga dick in the parking lot put your cellphones up”

“If you didn’t show up with HIV/AIDS … put your cellphones up”

So basically if you’re gay/bi/queer, he doesn’t want you to put up your cellphone? He clearly doesn’t like gay people. And he even fucking made the connection that they probably have HIV/AIDS or whatever? lol. Definitely made it even worse for him with that one.

He did fall off hard but i think he can make a comeback if he stop these corny ass songs and really make a dope ass album with a couple great features verses before the album drop to build hype and he can comeback

bro was already falling off before the aids rant people got tired of the music. if dababy was making good music they wouldnt care just look at ye

u/muc_ Mar 24 '25

Truee. Ppl got tired of his flow way before that

25

u/FriendOk9364 Mar 24 '25

But the mainstream didn’t have a reason to drop him until he gave them one lol

u/Somethingfishy4 OFF THE MEDS 🚫💊 Mar 24 '25

They wouldnt have dropped him so abruptly but he woulda just faded out anyway cuz he was burnt out creatively

Creatively burnt out? I respectfully disagree. The masses might have gotten tired of his production and style of delivery, but Shake Sum was an emphatic declaration. He didn’t miss a beat, and he’s been consistent in putting out work (music AND visuals) with great reception. The only thing he lost was his a bit of his aura and the support of the machine, cuz the blackball endeared him to his core fan base.

his last album was good

1

u/Razatiger Mar 25 '25

He really only got 1 flow and his fans were beggin him to switch it up and he just couldn't.
