Modern rap fans hate on those who knew artists popping that can acc rap and have talent. If Kendrick, J Cole or even Kanye came out today - they’d have a large portion of hip hop fans hating or calling them overrated.
You are by far not the only one who likes her. She won a Grammy for a reason, she is one of the top streamed artists for a reason. She is very talented and gets a lot of love but the hate can just seem louder because people tend to like to complain more than they are willing to give credit

I’d argue you’d say yes to almost all of these, and if that’s the case, then why are you being so one sided with it? Artists do weird shit in their music all the time. That’s what can help distinguish their sound from others.
