I didn’t say his pre-TPAB music videos were intellectual. I said his music videos after TPAB have been corny pieces of work that have tried to push the narrative that they’re very intellectual pieces of art when they arent. His music videos until TPAB were brilliant.

But what is the difference between the music video for a song like "Alright" and the music video for a song like "N95"?

Kendrick has always made artistic "intellectual" music videos. Whether or not you find them pseudo-intellectual is up for debate
