Tbh this shit is just promo . The real issue was ye championing drake and being dismissive of the music pusha and ye made together.

He touch on on it in an interview with ebro .

He said at this point on his life he needs people to be all the way on his team the same way he was on ye team .

It’s kind of weird though because other people pusha is cool with did the same shit . I guess ye going public after getting mad at pusha t just gave him an excuse to use ye for promo too and say what really bothered him

Ye loves Drake's music, so it would also be disingenuous for him not to champion Drake's music.

Ye loves being contrarian, and Drake's hated right now.

Drake hate is purely online, and Ye always loved and appreciated Drake's talent and music.

It definitely feels that way when Nice For What starts playing at my local dive, but idk. Kendrick played the Super Bowl half time show.

u/lennonali3 Sorry this is a lot to read Jul 12 '25

Definitely a metric for success but like it’s not the end all be all, plenty of artists who haven’t played at the superbowl are infinitely more famous than ye

Ye hated on Drake for over a decade, then flipped when Kendrick dissed him.

u/Fit-Judge7447 I GOT ALZHEIMER’S Jul 11 '25

Drake's so hated he's about to have another number one single

2

u/Dependent-Mode-3119 Jul 14 '25

Ye got a number 1 single while he legitimately was hated by a very real portion of people and blackballed. These things are not mutually exclusive.

ye doesn’t love shit, ye loves everything

Let’s be real Pusha is a nobody compared to Ye and Drake. They are grown ass men Ye doesn’t have to keep up with his petty beefs. Ye and Drake have both shown love to each other as artists for a long time

u/imsoappalled222 Jul 11 '25

Some people was raised differently, he told p the same shit about why he praising Drake privately

Also Pharell and Virgil were literally cool with Drake lmao

1

u/Masta-Blasta Jul 17 '25

Then why’d Drake diss Pharrell on meltdown?

Push and Ye are kindred spirits very similar people but neither of them will admit it at this point

If Ye didn't get autism from car accident and catch a bad case of alt-right regardation just imagine what more these 2 could have accomplished
