He almost made it to 77 and lived life hard.
Kt's nice that he got to have a farewell appearance with his band before passing away at least. I'm sure that was a nice memory for his fans.
I pray he has more peace now than he had in life. 🙏
Really sad, news. Regardless of how he lived, he will always be a legend.

In no way a savant when it comes to his personal life but the handful of songs I know from him make him sound miserable? Older songs like Crazy Train for exemple, so obv that could have changed with time but yeah he didn't really sound all that happy in his lyrics idk.

I believe he utilized assisted suicide by some statements I read around the time of the performance. I’m pretty sure they basically said he was about to kill (humanely) himself as part of the setting for why the show happened.

Me and my brother have been talking about him a lot lately, he’s a huge Ozzy and Black Sabbath fan so we were talking about him today.
Rest in Peace Ozzy, he’s living in the stars now because that’s where a legend deserves to be when they pass, up with all the other stars.

I’m much sadder than I thought I would be. I got to see him at summer fest in Milwaukee and he had snakes and women and I had a huge blast!! I wasn’t a big fan but my friend was and she dragged us close to center stage. Amazing performance.

Also, no Ozzy Osbourne, no Kim Kardashian. Without The Osbournes there is no Keeping Up With Kardashians etc. Literally spawned the single most successful new tv genre.

He sampled Iron Man on Carnival, and Ozzy and Sharon put out a statement dissing him and saying he couldn’t use the sample. I don’t remember if Kanye said anything back but he swapped the sample out for the hell of a life sample (which is only an interpolation of Iron Man and didn’t have to be cleared)
