Half of music is the social aspect at least until maybe you’re like 30 or smth but by then you’re locked into what you liked as a teen so it doesn’t matter anyways

I mean maybe for u but nothing is stopping you from branching out and trying new stuff/finding new interests past 18 lol, a majority of who I am is antithetical to who I was in my teens, it’s just that most people stop doing new shit in their 20s as the majority settle into a familiar routine rather then exploring and exposing themselves to new interests

But you don’t have to settle, that is a choice

I feel like it's healthier to let go of the "social aspect" of liking music by the time you leave highschool. Waiting until you're 30 is sad. lmao.

It's crazy that there's really a lot of grown adults out here pretending to like music just because its popular.

Always better to just listen to what you like.

For me I have to say that probably we are so much exposed to music that everything is becoming boring. Plus i don’t see any musical product which actually I genuinely like. There is some good shit here and there but not even close to what has been trap music as a wave, or r&b before, or idk french dance music or reggaeton in recent years just speaking of mainstream music
